LeBron Still #1 in Sneaker Sales Among Active Players with $300 Million »

The Nike LeBron X was the first signature shoe for LeBron James to put him head and shoulders ahead in terms of sneaker sales. In 2012 LeBron sales reached a whooping $300 million while other lines reached $50 million for Kobe Bryant, $35 million for Kevin Durant, $25 million for Derrick Rose. Back in December we mentioned how this season it’s 35% better in revenue and 18% better in units sold… despite the fact LBJ is avoiding his own shoes. The complete 2013 sneaker sales number are finally available. Things do seem to be slowing down a bit… LeBron James still leads the pack, but the numbers for the Nike LeBron line are exactly the same… $300 million. Sales for Durant’s Nike signature sneakers jumped 400% last year from $35 million to $175 million in the U.S. The rest is pretty much the same… Kobe’s still at $50 million.
