Wearing Brons: San Antonio Spurs’ Manu Ginobili & Danny Green »

Before the NBA Finals kicked off, I asked an important question on whether players should wear signature shoes of their opponents. Turns out it didn’t stop the San Antonio Spurs’ Manu Ginobili and Danny Green from lacing up the LeBron X and the Zoom Soldier VI, respectively. For the most part it worked really well… especially for Danny Green, who dominated from outside the paint in the first five games of the series setting up a new NBA Finals record for the most 3-pointers made. After the Heat won their second NBA championship, the team’s celebration party moved from American Airlines Arena to the Miami night club Story where LeBron James was caught giving a hug to the Spurs’ sharp-shooter. Both Green and James took to Twitter to clear the situation between former Cleveland Cavaliers teammates.
