Here’s one of LeBron James’ regular season PEs from last season. He wore these only once, but the shoes are special. We posted a pretty decent in-game look over a year ago, but the new pics posted by @jarodmalnik reveal more details. Apart from the sick reflective Chrome coating, this LeBron 10 PE features a Prism like inner liner and a multi-colored outsole.

Before the NBA Finals kicked off, I asked an important question on whether players should wear signature shoes of their opponents. Turns out it didn’t stop the San Antonio Spurs’ Manu Ginobili and Danny Green from lacing up the LeBron X and the Zoom Soldier VI, respectively. For the most part it worked really well… especially for Danny Green, who dominated from outside the paint in the first five games of the series setting up a new NBA Finals record for the most 3-pointers made. After the Heat won their second NBA championship, the team’s celebration party moved from American Airlines Arena to the Miami night club Story where LeBron James was caught giving a hug to the Spurs’ sharp-shooter. Both Green and James took to Twitter to clear the situation between former Cleveland Cavaliers teammates.

Usually it’s okay to wear signature shoes that belong to other NBA players in the regular season, but in the Playoffs things get serious. For that reason, we often see players switch to non-signature kicks when facing the enemy. Will Manu Ginobili, who really seems to enjoy LeBron James’ shoes, switch to something more generic for tonight’s game? Ever since he started wearing the LEBRON 9 (Freegums) last year, and followed with another pair – Argentina colorway on Nike iD – for the Olympic Games, he’s been fairly consistent with his selection of basketball kicks. Nowadays he’s into the LEBRON X and has already wore both Carbon and Prism (great match for the San Antonio Spurs!) colorways throughout the post season. Would you change shoes if you were playing against a signature athlete?

First of all let me say that the presented Prism colorway of the Nike LeBron X has become one of my favorite shoes right now. There’s something about that clean Black, Strata Grey and White upper highlighted with the artistic diamond hits on the midsole, inner lining and the LeBron James signature logo. Not too flashy, but with a lot of character… simply perfect. The multi-colored diamond references the refracted light that one can see through a diamond or prism. Additionally a multicolored diamond logo has been placed on the back of the shoe. The Prism LeBron X was released on December 31st, 2012… one day after James’ 28th birthday. LeBron even wore these on court back in March. Hit the jump for more pics. Big thanks to ataf.pl for the hook up.

As we all sit and wait patiently for the LeBron X NSW Cork Edition to drop, it doesn’t look like our New Year’s Eve prayers will be answered today. In just a couple of hours we will be able to grab one of the best colors of the Nike LeBron X that I’ve seen amongst the onslaught of colors released since the Crown Jewel. The Prism colorway features a predominantly Black upper with Grey swoosh, outsole and the tongue. However, the highlight of the shoe is a multi-colored polygonal composition. Though these are very impressive and clean, I do wish the Strata Grey was a light grey and the midsole wasn’t white. I’ll probably pick these up in the end. We’ll see. The LeBron X Prism launches today at 8am EST. Are you planning to cop? According to the ongoing poll these are going strong holding #1 spot. Leave your comments below and check out the whole Prism gallery after the break.

If the world doesn’t end today after all, you might want to get ready for the remaining two Nike LeBron X releases slated for this year. Following the Christmas X’s, which are going to be released on December 25-26th is the presented Prism edition, which will drop on December 30-31st. The Nike LeBron X Prism and its multi-colored polygonal composition is yet another take on the diamond theme shared by all shoes from the LeBron James’ 10th signature line. This time it’s all about different wavelengths of the light that are emitted through the stone. Continue reading for a detailed look.

It’s been a while since we offered you the first look at the Nike LeBron X “Prism”. Right now we know a little more about the shoes and we also get some new pics. The Prisms are scheduled to drop on December 30th, same as LeBron James’ 28th birthday. According to the the shoe industry’s counter intelligence site, this is an artist collaboration shoe and the color backstory starts with a map key-like prism diamond graphic on the medial heel panel. Obviously, the diamond theme shared among most X’s is still present here as the Prisms display all the colors reflected in a diamond.
