Spurs Steal Opener Despite LeBron James’ Massive Triple Double »

It wasn’t LeBron James’ best NBA Finals performance even though he notched a 18-18-10 triple-double. James had 18 points, 18 rebounds and 10 assists in his second straight NBA Finals triple-double, but he shot only 7 of 16 against some good collective defense by the San Antonio Spurs, and Miami’s offense stalled in the fourth quarter. Taking notes from previous games LeBron was very aggressive on his drives to the basket, but just like he did in the 2007 NBA Finals against the Spurs, he struggled to hit anything outside the basket area. Similar to last year James debuted his Finals PE of the LeBron X PS in Game 1 and the end result was the same. The Miami Heat trail 0-1 in the best-of-seven series. Game 2 is Sunday night.
