In celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, players around the NBA are wearing special Black History Month inspired colorways of Nike’s kicks. Along with the previously revealed signatures including the Nike LeBron 15, which was released earlier today. Usually there’s also the Nike Solider counterpart in the form of another Player Exclusive version.

Among the players wearing the Soldier XI BHM were Atlanta Hawks’ Dewayne Dedmon, Milwaukee Bucks’ Eric Bledsoe and Cleveland Cavaliers’ Jae Crowder. Like the other BHM kicks, this pair sports a black, green, and red colorway inspired by the Pan-African flag.

Many of 2018 BHM colorways have a special date added onto the shoe. The Soldiers have “11-4-2008” printed on the side, which is a reference to the date that Barack Obama was elected as the first black President of the United States.
