LBJ Records a Triple Double in OT Win in Sac-Town. Cavs End Suns’ Home Game Winning Streak »

LeBron James had 34 points, 16 rebounds and 10 assists for his second triple-double of the season, but it was his defense in the fourth quarter and overtime against rookie Tyreke Evans that proved to be the difference in Cavs’ 117-104 victory over the Kings. When the game got tight, so did Cleveland’s defense. They held the opposing team scoreless in the overtime. Nobody has been able to beat the Suns in Phoenix, except the Cavaliers. LeBron James and his Cleveland teammates made it two in a row in the desert with a 109-91 triumph on Monday night. The Suns had won 19 straight at home since Cleveland beat them there on March 12 last season. At 10-0, they were the only team in the NBA without a home loss this season. Earlier this week, on Monday, LeBron and Co. failed to bring down another West powerhouse as they lost to the Mavericks, who were playing without the injured Dirk Nowitzki. It seemed the task would be easier, but Tim Thomas and Drew Gooden picked up the slack combining for 34 points in place of the Mavs’ All-Star.
