First Look: Nike LeBron 9 P.S. “ELITE” Wear Test Sample »

Nike is set to release a “pinnacle high-end performance shoe with the style and premium quality expected in LeBron’s signature footwear” in 2012. Slated for the Playoffs and probably the upcoming Olympic Games is the Nike LeBron 9 P.S. Elite. Technical aspects of the shoe and the luxurious pricing was already unveiled, however, this is the first time we’re seeing the actual shoe. It’s a wear test sample, but it should give us a hint of the final product. As you can see the 9 P.S. is equipped with a 180 Air Max / Zoom Air combo cushioning. All logos have been stripped, as usual.

Nike Air Max LeBron 8 V/1 “Triple Black” Wear Test Sample »

Wear Test is a codename for shoes with hidden signature logos. They are usually shoes from early production stages when Nike tests on how their designs work in real life. Also, it’s easier to protect themselves from any unwanted leaks. In this case the Triple Black sample of the Nike Air Max LeBron 8 comes without the lionhead logo on the tongue and without the LeBron James signature on the heel. Even the inside labels on the insole and on the inner part of the tongue have been stripped from any text indicating for whom they are really made.

Nike Air Max LeBron VII (7) X Hyperfuse Wear Test Sample »

With the upcoming Nike LeBron 8 P.S. (V3) rumored to be a Hyperfuse based shoe, let’s take a closer look at the LeBron VII Weat Test Sample equipped with a hyperfuse upper. This was probably the first attempt to include the Hyperfuse technology into the LeBron James signature line. Originally, the LBJ7 featured a Flywire upper with an alternate Woven version implemented in the Red Carpet and White&Red colorways. The presented shoe is an early wear test sample, however, there are more Hyperfuse LeBron 7′s out there, including one in HWC colors. Hopefully, pics will hit the Internet sooner rather than later.

Nike Air Max LeBron VII (7) Black/Red “?” Unreleased Wear Test »

The Question Mark was a popular theme on the so called “Rumor Pack” colorways of the Nike Air Max LeBron VII Low. At least the sample version. It also appears on one of the unreleased models of the regular edition of the VII. As seen on the example below, Nike created an extremely rare promo pair in Black and Red featuring a “?” logo on the back of the shoes instead of the usual L23. It feels like a combination of the Phantom colorway with the initial Black/White/Red (sole). Accidentally, the new sample matches the Miami Heat uniforms, but after breaking out the Huaraches seems like LeBron James would never wear any of his “old” shoes with his new team.

Nike Zoom LBJ Ambassador III – Triple Black WT Sample Version »

Two years ago Nike has started this tradition of releasing Asia exclusive outdoor sneakers, which are a part of LeBron James’ signature collection. We have already showed you couple catalog images and as a proof that the shoes are real we follow up with these very first actual photos. The upcoming Zoom LBJ Ambassador III is expected to be released this Fall as a sidekick for the main shoe – LeBron VIII. Two previous versions were based on Zoom Air, but the third installment is a Max Air / Zoom Air combo (similar to the Zoom Soldier IV). The Ambassador 3.0 features a lower cut due to Nike’s philosophy of having one shoe that can do both – play basketball & casual wear.

Nike LeBron VII (7) Post Season Triple Black Wear Test Sample »

We definitely can’t complain about an overwhelming number of colorways regarding LeBron’s new shoes – Nike LeBron VII P.S. Something we’ve been used to do for the last couple years. Nike’s played things safe by releasing only three common styles plus one special (upcoming SLH version). We’re still hoping for more shoes from LBJ’s signature shoes collection to drop, sooner rather than later, but so far there’s no such information available. Here’s an unreleased Wear Test Sample featuring a simple Black on Black color blocking with P.S’s clear outsole trademark. Via DJCK.

Nike Air Zoom Generation Prototype – Black & White Wear Test »

The Nike Air Zoom Generation was LeBron James’ first signature shoe. Every time somebody asks LBJ about his favorite sneaker the answer is this “I think the first ones will always be my favorite,” Bron says. “Those are going to be classics, of course, because they’re my first shoe-just because it was the beginning of the whole thing, and something I always dreamed of when I was a kid-having a shoe with my name and initials on it. So the first one will always be the best.” With that said only a few of us know the AZG as we know and love it had [a different look] during the development period. While shots like [this] and [this] where the only source for this information several real photos have finally surfaced the Internet. What you see below is a prototype version of the Air Zoom Generation. It’s one of the Wear Test Samples. Notice how everything is different here… suede upper, the placement of the swoosh, the tongue and the outsole too. Check out all the photos after the break.
