The list includes Eric Bledsoe of the Los Angeles Clippers with Xmas’, George Hill of the Indiana Pacers who chose Freegums, and Al Harrington and Ty Lawson of the Denver Nuggets, who opted for LeBron 9 iD, Mango and Cool Grey styles, respectively. In our previous NBA Kicks report we mentioned about the very first wearings of the Nike LeBron 8 V/2 other than on LeBron James’ feet. Yesterday, shortly after Carmelo Anthony’s departure from Denver was announced, J.R. Smith decided to wear the Pre-Dunkman 8’s, after having played in the initial colorway couple games earlier. Even King James hasn’t worn that style yet, but he’s got alternate PEs.
When LeBron James has made a switch to a new shoe for the NBA Playoffs, so have his teamates. At least those who wear Nikes. LBJ has been rocking the Nike LeBron VII P.S. as he had already broken out three different colorways. However, several Cavaliers players laced up the old shoe – Air Max LeBron VII – in games 1-4 of the first round match up. The list includes Anthony Parker, Delonte West, and Anderson Varejao. Additionally, members of the Spurs organization have been spotted in LeBrons as well. George Hill has a busy shoes rotation, but he was seen in the all black AMLVII. His teammate Dejuan Blair is the only player besides The King, who decided to sport the Post Season version of the VII as he wore the POP colorway in yesterday’s game. Soldiers – the Zoom Soldier III in this case – are a frequent guest in our Wearing Brons segment. They are are a part of the LeBron James signature series, but they also come out in most popular team colors. The next installment is most likely to become a 100% team shoe, because the Post Season VII is replacing Soldiers for the Playoffs this year. We usually don’t get to see much of the numbered line on NBA courts, but several players have recently decided to wear the All Black Air Max LeBron VII. Continue reading for photos featuring Marcus Banks, Nate Robinson, George Hill, and Jason Williams sporting the AMLVII.Read the rest of this entry »
When LeBron James rocked the Hardwood Classic LBJ7, other Cavs Nike players joined him wearing the Zoom Soldier III in Royal, White and Orange. While it’s common for James’ teammates to sport his signature kicks, usually the Soldier line, we look around the league to see who else is rocking LeBrons. Before the season started Mike Miller caused quite a stir by wearing the ZSIII after becoming a Wizard, which seems to be against the rules in Washington. George Hill of the San Antonio Spurs, who wore the Soldier II last year is also lacing up the III’s from time to time. Roy Hibbert of the Indiana Pacers and Tyson Chandler of the Charlotte Bobcats have been spotted wearing the Nike Zoom Soldier III as well. Finally, Delonte West usually sports interesting colorways of the Soldiers as his did in their last game. Check out all photos after the jump.Read the rest of this entry »
