The Showcase: Nike LeBron X Gold Medal / USA Basketball »

This summer’s Olympic gold medal game gave the world its first look at the Nike LeBron X+. It was also the second colorway that was released to public in very limited numbers. Now, even after 8 drops of the Ten, the USA Basketball version is still one of the best. Most of the other colorways are using dark colors, but what’s fascinating about this style is the White Hyperfuse upper, which proves very high quality in person. The Gold Medal colorway is draped in the requisite red, white and blue, complete with a Gold Medal swoosh and lace lock. That’s the only difference between the pair LeBron wore in London and this retail model.

Got them :) $400 but was worth of it !!!

In person these have a very regal, more luxurious look to them in comparison to other Xs. I dont know how else to describe it other than these just look more expensive. I was very luck to have gotten these at retail price on nike.com. This is a pair that I had decided I was going to get no matter the cost

I got mine from nike store but wasn’t really impressed other then the gold swoosh and lion.

  • Honestly, the X’s have been a nice surprise so far. When the first images were initially leaked I didn’t see much room for potential with colorways. That being said, they have looked great and unique from a lot of years past where they seem to just regurgitate the same CW’s in different models. Of the 5 pairs I’ve purchased (Gold Medal, Blue Diamond, Pressure, Jades, and Dunkman) these are the nicest in my opinion. I love the subtle red flakes in the Pressures but the regal look of these just takes the cake so far.

    fav colorways soo far!
    1. “crown jewel”
    2. ” gold medal ”
????? anyone agree? but i love these but missed out

  • I agree. For some reason these seem better in quality. The only downside is that gold swoosh. I would prefer a simpler design.

  • I love the gold swoosh. It completes that regal look.

  • The crown jewel is nice because it’s rare but I honestly don’t think it’s all that.

Defiently the best 10 so far but there really hasnt been a 10 thats like damnnnnnnnn, like the 8 south beachs or the china or big bang 9s. Nike id and the 300 dollar price tag are ruining the lebron shoe.

yea i understand.. i just really really like the color scheme! i realy wish they would have restocked them!

    where u get em

  • kaleb

where do u buy gold medal

  • I bought mine on ebay. They were expensive but I thought the almost $400 wasn’t too crazy since they would’ve cost me $270. Not sure what they’re going for now though.
