LeBron James is annually (and unavoidably) the star of the “Wine and Gold Scrimmage” at the University of Akron. He played the first 12 minutes of the 48-minute running-clock affair, netting two points, four boards and two assists. Of course, with his usual flair for the dramatic, LeBron made those two points count – taking an alley-oop from Daniel Gibson and throwing down a demonstrative dunk on Draft classmate, Sasha Pavlovic. The most interesting thing for us – sneakerheads – were his shoes. Finally, he decided to break out the upcoming Nike Zoom LeBron IV in the initial colorway, which was the first actual sighting of the shoes. Too bad there are no better pics, but the Cavaliers start this season when they face the Raptors on Tuesday so there should be plenty of possibilities from now on.
