Maybe one of these years LeBron James will grant the NBA its dream matchup and go head-to-head with Kobe Bryant in the Finals. For now, all we have is James going one-on-one with Larry King, which is not the type of made-for-TV event NBA commissioner David Stern wants to be selling in June. No one is buying tickets to see two guys who have nothing in common – other than the fact that neither has won an NBA championship and that they both call themselves King. The biggest question remains unanswered, but apparently the Cavs have the edge in free agency this summer. “You know, this city, these fans, I mean, have given me a lot in these seven years,” James said in a taped interview with King. “And, you know, for me, it’s comfortable. So I’ve got a lot of memories here. And – and so it does have an edge.” Via NYT.
