Cavaliers Grab a Fifth Straight Win. LeBron not a Fan of Tweets. »

Last night, relying on one of the league’s stingiest defenses, the Cleveland Cavaliers hung on to win it against the scrappy Milwaukee Bukcs. Cleveland almost relinquished a late 15-point lead and scored just a single basket in the final 6:34, but their tenacious D proved to be the difference. Btw, no team beats the Bucks like Cleveland. Since January 2006, Milwaukee is 3-13 against the Cavaliers. Two days before that, they won another close game versus the Philadelphia 76ers… thanks to Cavs’ dynamic duo of LeBron James and Mo Williams, who scored several key baskets down the stretch. As expected, the Cavaliers handled the cellar-dwelling Nets on Tuesday night. But to New Jersey’s credit – they made Cleveland work for it. Kicks-wise… LeBron wore all of his Air Max LeBron VII GR colorways – White/Navy, Black/Gold, and Black/White/Red – respectively.

Social networks are quickly becoming a venue for athletes to broadcast their own news. Mo Williams and Shaquille O’Neal are big-time “Tweeters,” but don’t expect LeBron to join that group any time soon. “I’m not saying it’s a bad thing, but it’s not for me. I’m just not going to get involved in it. Kids in college do it, because they have the whole MySpace, Facebook, joint. But I never got involved in it.” In light of Jennings being fined for his postgame Tweet, James said he has no intention of opening a Twitter account and doesn’t see much value in social networking. “I don’t need people following me around,” he said. “I don’t need people to know that I’m in the locker room getting ready for a game. They should already know that.
