2007 NBA Playoffs photo recap: ECF | game 5 »

LeBron James put on an epic display in Eastern Conference Finals pivotal Game 5. Words just can’t describe James’ play in the last game. First of all he scored 29 of his team’s final 30 points including last 25!!! In the fourth quarter and overtime, the Pistons – one of the NBA’s best defensive teams – couldn’t stop James even though they knew he was going to take every single shot. No defensive scheme worked. No trap succeeded in taking the ball out of James’ hands. No zone formation slowed him down. Nothing. The King dominated in every possible way and put on a breathtaking display of talent on his way to one of the most spectacular performances in Playoffs history. WE ARE ALL WITNESSES – LeBron’s last year’s promo slogan describes this game for everyone who’s seen it… we’ve witnessed something that will be remembered for many years. LeBron’s comments on the game:

I’m banged up. I’m winded. I’m fatigued. I’ve got all day tomorrow. It’s going to be tough to get some rest when you got a crazy, 2-year-old running around the house. So hopefully, I can take him to one of his grandma’s house.

Why should I be surprised? I was making a lot of great moves, They are definitely a great defensive team, but I was determined to attack.

I was able to will my team to victory. This is definitely a big win, one of the biggest wins in Cavaliers’ franchise history. For me and my teammates, it’s definitely the biggest win.

We have a goal, we can’t dwell on this when we have another game on Saturday. We have got to do our best to try to win that ballgame and get where we wanted to be all year.

Brown’s comment on LeBron’s performance:

Somebody told me in the locker room that he scored 29 of our last 30 points and I could not believe it. Everybody keeps asking for more, and he keeps giving more. I feel bad that my words don’t do justice for what he did.
