Inspired by 9 P.S. Elite Custom Nike LeBron 9 iD “Taxi” Build »

The upcoming Taxi colorway of the Nike LeBron 9 P.S. Elite is a special one. It will be released this Saturday, but with the limited numbers that Nike is putting on for the Elite series it might be difficult to get a pair at retail. The fact that Nike’s official online store won’t be carrying them doesn’t help much either. So what if you won’t be able to get your Taxi ride this weekend? Well, that’s when the Nike iD option pays dividends. Below, there’s a Taxi themed version of the Nike LeBron 9 iD designed by awsome blossom of NikeTalk.

PE Spotlight: Nike LeBron 8 “Post Season” Navy PE »

Last season, Nike released a couple of nice colorways of the Nike LeBron 8 P.S. including a special NBA Finals make up. LeBron James has also unveiled some special colorways of his own, especially during the lockout basketball games in Philly, L.A. and the CP3 All-Star Game. However, what you see below is a new, previously unseen, version of the LeBron 8 P.S.. which comes in a Navy & White colorway. Thanks to KC KING T9X of NikeTalk for sharing!

Detailed Look at Nike LeBron 8 P.S. “Gun Metal” PE »

Before the 2011 NBA Finals, LeBron James unveiled a new colorway of the Nike LeBron 8 P.S.. Initially, it was believed to be his special Finals make up. In the end this was the actual Finals colorway, but King James ended up wearing the Gun Metal Grey version in the Drew League back in July. Now we can finally get a detailed look. Nike LeBron 8 PS “Finals” Alternate Player Exclusive Version »

The Finals edition of the Nike LeBron 8 P.S. was pretty great. Too bad we couldn’t avoid the drama surrounding its release, but I am glad they did drop in the end. Even if it took several weeks after the actual NBA Finals appearance. Anyway, I’m sure everyone is pretty happy with their pairs too. Seems like there’s an alternate pair carrying the Miami Heat theme. In this new version there’s no speckled air max unit and the outsole is yellow instead of black, but otherwise they are almost identical. Is the new PE better than the one released? James Unveils New LEBRON 8 P.S. PE During CP3 All-Star Game »

Yesterday, we mentioned about Kyle Irving wearing his Nike LeBron 8 V/2 Low PE during the Chris Paul All-Star Charity Game, but LeBron James also wore something new. Finally some decent photos have surfaced on the web, which show a new LEBRON 8 P.S. Player Exclusive. It’s very similar to his Miami Heat Away PE from the Eastern Conference Finals against the Bulls. The main difference is a white midsole and outsole, which change the color blocking on the shoe. See how both of them compare after the break. The way things are going right now, King James should wear something really sick in the upcoming “South Florida All-Star Classic” on October 8th.

The Showcase: Nike LeBron 8 “FINALS” Hits Nikestore Europe »

LeBron’s special edition NBA Finals shoes tend not to get released, for some reason. It happened with the Zoom Soldier III and it almost had happened this year to the LEBRON 8 PS. After several twists and turns, the Nike LeBron 8 PS “Finals” dropped in Asia and in the U.S. both online and via local stores. Europe seems to be the last place, but they have also received these special Miami Heat shoes. They’re available at nikestore.com for 150 Euros. Turns out there are more pairs than we were initially told about. It’s all good as long as real fans get to order a pair. Almost 4 months after King James debuted his pair, but still… it counts. LBJ Rocking “South Beach” 8 P.S. in Exhibition Game in Philly »

This Sunday, LeBron James was making his fourth appearance in a summer pro-am game amid the NBA lockout, having also participated in events in Cleveland, Los Angeles and Washington this offseason. This time he played alongside Carmelo Anthony and Chris Paul in Philadelphia. He is scheduled to join Heat teammate Dwyane Wade for Paul’s Oct. 1 charity game in Winston-Salem, N.C. During yesterday’s game he unveiled a new PE colorway of the Nike LeBron 8 P.S. It’s kind of a hybrid between the Souch Beach 8′s and the All-Star 7′s, but as you can image the outcome is pretty nice. Only blurry pics after the break, but hopefully we will get a better look soon.

Nike LeBron 8 PS – Post Season – Dunkman Showcase »

Months after the new Nike LeBron 8 P.S. Dunkmans had dropped, I still don’t know how I feel about them. It’s not something suitable for everybody… that’s sort of a given. However, there is something irresistible in them, that still makes you wanna buy, even if there’s no purpose defined. Maybe it’s the Dunkman theme that’s already been carved into the LeBron James DNA. Possibly. We may even prefer the toned back Pre-Dunkman V2, or wish for a V1 or V2 version implementing this bold Mean Green look. Despite all that I’m still very excited… even if I end up just looking at them sitting on my shelve. They’re beautiful in person. Continue reading for our 30+ photos gallery.
