Just one game after debuting the 11 Elite, LeBron James once again switched it up, and went to the 11 Low for the first time on court. It may be too early to read into anything regarding the 11 Elite, but in a season where the 11 has rarely been worn, it’s noteworthy that James would switch into the 11 Low after only a single game in the Elite. This marks only the second time LeBron has worn the low-top edition of his signature shoes in-game, following a single-half appearance of the 9 Low at MSG.Read the rest of this entry »
After spending Saturday in Cleveland attending Zydrunas Ilgauskas’ jersey retirement ceremony, LeBron James returned to the Heat and struggled once again to find his jump shot. This time, there were no sleeves or the mask to blame. Hopefully it was not the shoes as James debuted the Elite version of the Nike LeBron XI ahead of schedule. LeBron wore a Black/Silver colorway with hits of Red and iridescent finish that may be exclusive to him. Even though LBJ struggled in the game, he looked incredibly sleepy, he didn’t switch to the Soldier VII. Take a closer look at the Nike LeBron 11 Elite below and let us know what are your early impressions? Will LeBron continue to use the Elite version during the Regular Season? That’s one way to solve the problem with the regular version.Read the rest of this entry »
LeBron James is known to rock his Fairfax Lions PEs when he’s playing in L.A. He also did that last year when he was visiting Cleveland. Last night, he laced up the LeBron XI Fairfax Away edition against the Los Angeles Clippers. The shoes were introduced just a couple of days ago thanks to his buddy Frankie Walker. The Fairfax LeBron 11 sports the LA-based high school’s native colors including yellow Hyperfuse, gold Hyperposite and black Swoosh branding on the upper. Red handles the laces, tongue logos, inner lining and the outsole. You can make similar styles on Nike iD, but not quite like this!Read the rest of this entry »
Last night, LeBron James debuted a new version of the Nike LeBron XI in Black, Red and White. James laced up the new Miami Heat PE in the first quarter and then went back into what seems to be his primary shoes… the Nike Zoom Soldier VII. The on-again, off-again relationship between LBJ and his latest signature shoe continues and even though he’s wearing the modified version the problem still remains. Hopefully, the Elite version, which is still a couple months away, will deliver the proper improvements.Read the rest of this entry »
Yesterday, after wearing the Soldier 7 for a couple of games in a row, LeBron James went back to the Nike LeBron 11. He debuted the “Graffiti” colorway, which was released on Saturday, which was a good match for Miami Heat’s new retro jerseys. In a rematch of last year’s NBA Finals, the Heat defeated the San Antonio Spurs 113-101. LeBron James played only 28 minutes and had 18 points, seven rebounds and six assists. Was it just another one time affair for the LeBron 11? Will he go back to Soldier 7 for the next game?Read the rest of this entry »
First debuted on the Nike Zoom LeBron IV, the “NYC Graffiti” colorway gets a fresh look in LeBron James’ latest signature model, the Nike LeBron 11. Featured in the Miami Heat White, University Red and Black colors, the new Graffiti version takes on a white and black upper with contrasting graffiti graphics across the Hyperposite sections of the upper. University red accents pop on the Nike LeBron logo, Swoosh design and inner lining. The shoes will be available starting tomorrow at major Nike Basketball retailers. I wonder if King James decides to wear these on court?!?

LeBron James is sticking with the Nike Soldier VII, but so are his Miami Heat teammates. James uses his very own Player Exclusive styles, but seems like there’s plenty to go around in the Miami Heat locker room. Norris Cole (@PG30_MIA) and Michael Beasley (@easyst0) have been wearing the new Soldiers a lot in the past couple weeks. Still, they use different pairs from LBJ’s. Back in November, the LeBron James Family Foundation has teamed up with the Akron Chlldren’s Hospital to take part in the annual Holiday Tree Festival. The LJFF’s contribution was made up of LeBron’s signature Nike sneakers, including the 8 PS Elite, 9 PS Elite, 10, 10 PS Elite, Ambassador 5, Soldier 4 and Soldier 6… all dressed in classic Miami Heat colors. Now all of them, a set of 47 pairs, is up for grabs though a single auction on eBay. All pairs are very rare Nike Player Exclusives in size 16 fitted for King James. The BIN has been set at at $42 000, which means it’s nearly $900 a pair. Any takers?
