This summer, Nike released the third iteration of the Nike Air LeBron Slide. Actually, only the Elite version has been released, but 8 different styles hit the stores. This is quite a lot considering the LeBron Slide 3 Elite costs $75. That’s an awful lot if you ask me for a pair of flip flops. Fortunately, most of them end up at outlets and you can buy them at roughly $40. Here’s a detailed look at 3 colorways… Sprite, Peach and Hyper Punch. Do you find LeBron James’ signature slides comfortable or do you prefer a less bulky construction on your feet during leisure time?

The summer is basically over, but if you’re looking for some new slides here’s one option to consider. The Nike Air LeBron Slide 3 Elite, which normally retails for a whooping $75, can be easily found for half that price. Nike released a total of 8 different Nike LeBron Slide 3’s and my favorite one is the presented Black and Peach Cream colorway. I’m not a huge fan of the Nike Air LeBron Slide series because they’re too bulky to wear on a day-to-day basis, but sometimes it’s nice to walk on air without any strings attached.

For the first Nike LeBron release in 2014 we take a break from the LEBRON 11 and turn our attention towards the third instalment of the Nike Air LeBron Slide. Similar to last year, Nike prepared an Elite version of the new LeBron James’ flip flops, which means it will cost you $75. So far we haven’t seen a non-Elite pair. The colorway is very impressive. For the launch version Nike used the Dunkman theme… the original version. It means it’s not the controversial Mica Green used for the 11’s, but the classic Electric Green. Additionally, there’s the modern Dunkman logo used on the heel. Is it enough to get your attention?

After shifting their focus from regular to Elite, Nike continues their campaign to make our feet comfortable 24/7… this time in a fruity fashion. Two new colorways of the Nike Air LeBron 2 Elite slides are slated for a Summer 2013 drop. This includes the 578251-838 Mango and the 578251-630 Raspberry colorway, which happens to match a very similar style for one of the upcoming Nike LeBron X low-tops. It’s not the first time when Nike is launching matching styles across their Nike LeBron signature products. Earlier this year they did the same for the NIKE LEBRON X PS Elite in Superhero and Turquoise colorways. You can get the new LeBron James’ flip flops at Oneness, but they should drop on a wider scale soon.

Nike continues to use the vibrant Turquoise look known from the LeBron X PS Elite on all their products from the LeBron James signature collection. Joining the shoes, shorts, jerseys, and even socks, is a matching Sport Turquoise/Volt-Violet Force colorway of the Nike Air LeBron 2 Elite Slide. It’s the Elite version therefore we get the bumped price tag of $75.

If you’re still excited about that NYC-esque theme for the latest Nike LeBron drops, you’ll probably love these too. Nike has just released a new colorway of the Nike Air Slide 2 Elite. Now you can match your new LeBron X PS Elites with a similar colorway of the new LeBron James signature flip flops. And to make things more fun it’s also an Elite version. The second installment of the Nike Air Slide is styled after the signature look of the Nike LeBron 8. It offers a Contoured Phylon footbed and Max Air unit for ultra-soft cushioning in the heel. The Nike Air LeBron Slide 2 has been released in a couple of regular styles and even a performance enhanced Elite edition. Here’s a closer look at the regular $65 version in the classic Black and Red colorway. The new slides feature a Contoured Phylon footbed and Max Air cushioning in the heel for faster recovery for tired feet. The outsole sports an iconic pattern inspired by the looks of the LeBron 8… same as the last year’s model.

Here’s a look at the Nike Air LeBron 2 Slide Elite in a new Dark Atomic Teal/Total Orange-Atomic Teal colorway. I really don’t know what the Elite means here and how they are different from the regular non-Elite styles, but that’s exactly how they are labeled on the box. It might be those small Hyperfuse panels. Must be really important, though, because the price went up from $65 to $75! The colorway itself looks very nice. If you don’t mind spending $75 on a pair of flip flops, they might be a nice way to get comfy in the living room or at the pool. Continue reading for more pics.
