Unannounced Drop of B-Grade More Than a Game VII’s at Orlando Outlet »

During the More Than a Game World Tour, that took place last summer, Nike released 1230 pairs of limited edition sneakers (123 for each city x 10 = 1230). Seems like they had some left overs as it’s been reported that some B-grade MTAG VII’s (f.e. DC, Akron, Chicago) dropped at one of Nike’s Factory Outlets in Orlando yesterday. They are most likely to be gone by now, but if you check ebay you will notice a great number of listings featuring the MTAG Air Max LeBron VII’s. They come in Nike’s orange boxes unlike the original ones, which featured special MTAG packaging. Apparently, that’s the only difference, but you never know what’s the deal with B-Grades. Too bad the online prices are not so great. Most of the “good Samaritans” on ebay are charging way over $300 when the outlet price was $69.99. Forget about the “One of One Hundred Twenty Three” text inside the shoe.

Super-limited Zoom LeBron V Yankees Release at the Outlets »

I don’t know if the title makes any sense, but it’s in fact true. Couple days ago we mentioned about the Tribute V’s hitting the outlets. Turns out early this month several Nike Outlet accounts received the Yankee edition too. Of course before anybody knew about this they were all gone. Possibly another B-Grade thing, but according to our sources most of the pairs came in the ZLV box with a Yankee dust bag and an extra pair of laces, exactly like the ones sold at House of Hoops. Some time ago there was a rumor about an online release of the Yankees, but we all know that never happened. Later several boutique stores got some pairs, but with all the hype going on, the prices never really dropped below the $600 mark. The outlet release of the Mr Basketball edition lowered the “black market” prices so expect the same with the Yankees. However, there are fewer pairs so they won’t reach the same level that’s for sure. If you gonna hit ebay and try your luck to get some Yankees please watch out for fakes. If you wanna know how to spot them see the updated Zoom LeBron V Fake Guide. Check out Nike Zoom LeBron V New York Yankees pics (OG) below. Courtesy of 3peat.jp.

Non-locker Mr Basketball Zoom LeBron V Hit the Outlets »

I must admit that the Mr Basketball V’s, that dropped in February at the House of Hoops by Footlocker, was in my opinion the most exciting LeBron release in the past year. First of all the ZLV is a damn good basketball sneaker. Then this commemorative colorway, a tribute to King James, is a treat for every LeBron James fan. On top of it all they came in a dope metal locker box. Of course not everybody got a chance to appreciate them cause of the very limited release, but fortunately there’s a second chance. The Mr Basketball Zoom LeBron V hit selected Nike Outlet accounts last week, the B-Grade version. The retail for the locker box editions was $250 and the one in the outlets costs $80, but it comes in a standard orange Nike box. According to several, who own the B-grades the quality is the same as the original so it seems that only the box is the reason for the downgrade. Looks like Nike had more shoes than boxes and decided to “give” them away. At this moment most of the shoes are sold out, but if you really want them you will find a lot of great deals on ebay. Some of them end up much below the MSRP of the regular V’s, which was $140. Several photos of the B-Grade version below. Click here too see the original version.
