Throwback Thursday: LEBRON VII “Heroes Pack” Jordan PE »

One of the most intriguing stories focused on signature sneakers of the modern era was the so called “Heroes Pack” created for the Air Max LeBron VII. Designed by Jason Petrie and his team, the Heroes Pack was a tribute to LeBron James and his childhood idols – Deion Sanders, Penny Hardaway, and Michael Jordan. The Jordan pair was inspired by the Air Jordan XI, which judged by the recent events is still ultra-popular among sneakerheads. We can only imagine what it would be like if the LeBron X Jordan make up was actually released to public. Hopefully the Ken Griffey Jr’s won’t suffer a similar fate.

Nike Air Max LeBron VII “Space Jam” Custom inspired by Jordan XI »

Not so long we posted a custom version of the Nike Air Max LeBron VII. Based on the Cool Grey/Red TB, the Bugatti Veyron inspired model was definitely nice to look at. Mizzeecustoms continues the effort to customize your LeBron shoes as they have created yet another memorable modification of LeBron’s last year shoes. The coveted Space Jam Air Jordan XI dropped in 2009 and the humongous hype surrounding the release created all kinds of camp outs, and not so cool nor fair reselling. Nike also incorporated design cues from this legendary Jordan model by creating a special LeBron VII version equipped with Jordan XI’s bottom. Two of them, actually. Unfortunately they were made only for LBJ and his friends. What do you think about this creation? Is Jordan X LeBron a good look?

Nike Air Max LeBron VII Inspired by Air Jordan XI Alternate Version »

We still can’t get over the fact that Nike is not willing to release the so called Heroes Pack to public, but new pics just keep on coming. The pack contains of three shoes, each inspired by one of LeBron James’ childhood idols – Anfernee Hardaway, Deion Sanders, and Micheal Jordan. Seems like MJ’s pair, Air Jordan XI look-a-like, has at least two different versions. The first sample features a woven upper and a prominent white swoosh. The new version, which seems to be a Friends&Family PE, sports a mesh upper and red trimmed black swoosh. Which one do you think is better? Heroes Pack – Nike Air Max LeBron VII Michael Jordan Colorway »

Earlier today we have mentioned about a very interesting pair of shoes – Air Max LeBron VII X Air Jordan XI. Turns out that special make up is a part of the Heroes Pack, which is a tribute to LeBron James’ idols from his childhood – Michael Jordan, Penny Hardaway, and Deion Sanders. Click here to see the other two. All shoes from the pack are inspired by athletes’ respective signature shoes. From what we were able to establish, the Heroes Pack will not be released to public. All we can do now is hope that somehow Nike will change their minds. Let us at least enjoy the new photos below.

Leaked: Air Max LeBron VII + Air Jordan XI = G.O.A.T.?! »

We haven’t seen any LeBron James X Micheal Jordan collaborations (shoes-wise) since the memorable Air Jordan IX SVSM PE. The Air Max LeBron VII has become a milestone in King James’ signature shoes collection. Similar to what the Air Jordan XI did for the Jordan Brand back in the day. Throw them both together and what you get? A G.O.A.T.? Perhaps, but it would be all for nothing if they don’t come out. And let’s face it… the chances of that happening are very slim. The LeBron VII P.S. already resembles the AJ XI a lot, but this is pure madness. Just few moments ago, pics of the Bred AJ11 inspired AMLVII colorway has leaked to the Internet. Everything is right on point… woven upper, Patent Leather toebox, round laces, even Carbon Fiber plates in the midsole. My monitor is melting right now. They’re hot!
