The Real Dunkman Version of the Nike Zoom LeBron IV »

If you’re familiar with the Dunkman collection you’re already an expert. However, there’s always something new to learn. In this case… a new Dunkman LeBron shoe has been recently unveiled and no it’s not the upcoming LeBron 9 as you’d normally expect. We take you way back to the Nike Zoom LeBron IV… the foamposite shoe. There was a Dunkman IV colorway, which was a big hit at the time, but it has never actually lived up to the level of LeBron II and III’s. The new version is much closer to the initial theme switching the white midsole in favor of dark grey reminiscent of that legendary Gun Metal Grey. Also, the sole is different as it comes without the translucent Dunkman logo concept on the bottom, which suggests it’s an early sample. That plus the fact it has WITNESS on the back instead of BELIEVE. Big thanks to Visrael for sharing, who probably owns the only pair that has seen the light of the day.

Nike Zoom LeBron IV White/Varsity Royal “Flexiposite” Prototype »

Nike Zoom LeBron IV is probably one of the most memorable designs of the last decade. The only shoe in the LeBron James signature collection featuring Foamposite technology. A new prototype of the shoe has recently leaked to the Internet. Apart from a different material called Flexiposite, which is not known in detail, this White/Varsity Royal colorway possesses misplaced logos. Originally, the L23 is placed on the tongue with the Swoosh located on the lateral side. Photos via Air_Andy.

Throwback Thursday: Zach’s Nike LeBron Ohio State Collection »

The Ohio State University was one of the first schools equipped by Nike’s LeBron brand. It was in fact the first college team to sport the famous L23 logo on their uniforms, and shoes, of course. However, this year a strange thing has happened. After repping the OSU with several insanely hot colorways each season, Nike “forgot” to make them a Special Make Up of the Air Max LeBron VII. The Buckeyes were “forced” to wear the White/Red NFW GR. Some of their players, who were a little bit more creative laced up the Grey/Crimson TB, but without any team logo. Despite that we decided to include the VII in The Collection, but that felt weird. Anyway, we’re glad that someone has decided to track down every single pair of the OSU’s. His name is Zach and you might have seen his work. It’s pretty impressive. Continue reading for more photos.

Throwback Thursday: Nike Zoom LeBron IV Cavaliers Colorway »

One month ago we mentioned about the Chalk Six being one of a few shoes released by Nike implementing real Cleveland Cavaliers’ team colors. Here’s another pair that’s true to the game – Zoom LeBron IV “Remix”. It’s dubbed as a Playoffs colorway although LeBron James didn’t actually wear them in the post season. He wore them once in one of the last games of the 2006-07 regular season and they did drop in April so Playoff implications where a natural thing. The Remix IV’s are a perfect match with Cavs’ alternate road uniforms. The IV is a timeless design and this coloway brings out the best from it. Continue reading for a massive number of photos.

Throwback Thursday: White / Pink Zoom LeBron IV aka “Gloria” PE »

The Gloria Zoom LeBron IV Player Exclusive is one of the rarest LeBron James shoes. For several years we’ve been hearing nothing but rumors about the existence of this pair… until they have finally leaked to the Internet back in 2007. The first real photos surfaced one year later only to tease with some anxious Nike LeBron collectors. Now everybody gets a chance to buy a pair as they’re available right now on eBay. One pair has made it through as it’s the first time we’re seeing them listed for sale. This White and Pink ZLIV features a white upper with a translucent Pink outsole highlighted by more Pink details like Swoosh outline, laces and ankle strap border. The only downside… they’re size 6.5. Continue reading for a fresh batch of photos.

Wearing Brons – Nate Robinson Rocking the Birthday LeBron IV »

Nate Robinson has been known to wear popular signature shoes from time to time including Kobes, LeBrons, and other Nike basketball sneakers. Usually he utilizes Nike iD to customize his kicks (Kobe IV, Zoom BB II) in order to match ‘em with Knicks vibrant colors. However, it’s not that easy to do with LBJs. There’s no shortcut for personalizing LeBron’s kicks and that’s probably why he’s been seen wearing universal all Black colorways (f.e. ZLIV and ZLVI). Fortunatelly, one of Cleveland’s Hardwood Classic themes is a mirrored style of the NYK native colors. While most of HWC Nike LeBron shoes are Player Exclusives, there’s one exception that did make it all the way to retail – Zoom LeBron IV Birthday Limited Edition. In yesterday’s game against the Orlando Magic, Nate sported the Bday IV’s and as you might have guessed it was a perfect match. Stay tuned for James’ response as Cavs are about to kick off their latest Hardwood Classics campaign on Wednesday, December 2nd. Luckily enough their new HWC jerseys look like this. If LeBron is going to New York in 2010 he won’t run out off NYC themed kicks… that’s for sure.

Throwback Thursday: Zoom LeBron IV HWC PE + New HWC Jerseys »

In today’s episode of Throwback Thursday we would like to focus on something that might soon become a new Hardwood Classic theme for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Last year the Cavs’ HWC colors were Blue or Yellow commemorating years 1970-74. Before that they sported Orange jerseys in memory of season 1986-87. This year, however, the Cleveland Cavaliers will unveil new Hardwood Classic outfits as a reference to the 1988-89 squad. As you can see after the jump the new theme consists of Blue and Orange, which for us sneakerheads is an indicator of many amazing Nike LeBron PEs. Can you imagine these colors on an Air Max LeBron VII? Possibilities are endless. Be sure to follow LeBron’s first HWC game, which takes place on December 2nd, 2009 versus the Phoenix Suns.

Zoom LeBron IV White/Varsity Red Look See Sample From Pou Chen »

It’s been almost 3 years since the memorable Nike Zoom LeBron IV debut. The shoe, which has become legendary by now, has marked its presence with the general concept as well as plenty outstanding colorways (Pebbles, NYC, All-Star, etc.). Still, to this day, we weren’t able to know all IV’s… not even close. That’s why we get extra thrilled when we are able to share a new unseen version with our readers. Thanks to our friend oneonenine we present the Nike Zoom LeBron IV White/Varsity Red Look See Sample. It’s similar to LeBron James’ Cleveland Cavaliers Home PE with one major difference – the collar, which instead of Red features White 3M material. The shoes were made before the NBA season had started so possibly it was just one of the options to become the official Home edition. Click the title for more photos.
