Sometimes you get a feeling that even a big corporation like Nike listens to their fans… us… sneakerheads. It’s not anything major like i.e. making Jordan Retros better in quality or making the decision to start Retroing the Nike LeBron line… or charging less money for shoes, haha. But in the case of the upcoming release of the What the LeBron 12’s somebody did something right and the General Release version has been changed for the better.
The previous sample version was not so nice to look at. The concept is still the same… mashing up different shoes into one pair, but the execution on the new WTL LeBron XII is so much better. The colors play nicely together now… no more boring Silver posite panels on both sides of both shoes. There’s even a nod to Jordan with a huge #23 on the right shoe. What’s not to like? It’s still a premium release, which might end up on shelves more often than on people’s feet. But in this one single case it’s excused, I think.
