The Eight: Nike Air Max LeBron VIII Official Unveiling & Tech Specs »

As it was announced in Nike’s teaser from the last week, today is the official unveiling of the Air Max LeBron VIII. Media information will probably roll out throughout the day and we are starting with couple first images and some technical specification. The message reads: “With a new season comes an all new LeBron James signature shoe. The LEBRON 8 is built on a basketball specific Max Air 360 unit – combined with Flywire technology – for ultimate cushioning with lightweight comfort and lockdown control.” Below there’s a list of key features, the most interesting ones. Detailed Look at Nike Air Max LeBron VIII “Chinas” Asia Version »

The first batch of China VIII’s is set to hit overseas retailers tomorrow. The Chinas in the Asian variation, feature the same colorway as the U.S. version with slight modifications exclusively for Asian buyers. The changes are as subtle as Chinese lettering on lace jewels and more apparent like Chinese stone carving on the tongue and Chinese statue on the heel. Introducing Nike Zoom Soldier III Fairfax Away Player Exclusive »

Finding shoe pics is hard work. Hard and treacherous work. That’s why sometimes we have to wait a year, or even more, in order to get detailed photos of rare Nike LeBron kicks. And I’m talking about the shoes we know of. I will leave the part we don’t know about for some other occasion. Anyway, in 2009 we mentioned about Fairfax players wearing the Zoom Soldier III in both Home and Away colorways. Homes were profiled a while ago and now we get a chance to see the Aways up close. The ZSIII Fairfax Away PE features a predominantly black upper with a patent leather wraparound, red logos and yellow highlights including a translucent outsole. Personalize your LeBrons: Zoom Soldier IV TB available at Nike iD »

When I first heard the news about the new Soldiers landing at the Nike iD platform I got very excited. Jumping over the hoops to get all these limited colorways can make you wonder and hope for a possibility to make you own shoe. It’s not the first time we get to personalize Nike LeBron sneakers. Two years ago, Eastbay did offer to put your own number on the Zoom Soldier II TBs. Too bad things haven’t changed much since then. Nike iD is listing the Zoom Soldier IV TB at nikeid.nike.com, but the changes we are allowed to make are minor. First, we get to choose one of the TB’s as the base shoe. Then we get to enter two iD’s for the medial and lateral sides. That’s about it folks, at least for now. Hopefully the customization level will turn up a notch soon.

Nike Zoom Soldier IV 407707-002 Black/Anthracite Coming Soon »

After releasing three colorways over the Summer, plus couple exclusives in September, Nike is sending a second wave of Zoom Soldier IVs, that are about to hit stores. Joining the Navy/White/Gold edition is the Triple Black style as they both are available at eastbay.com for a preorder. The Triple Black ZSIV is very similar to the Black Team Bank version, but without white inserts to balance the colorway. Nike is also scheduled to release the Air Max LeBron 8 in a pure black stylization, but it’s going to drop in December. Seems like Nike has our black kicks needs covered.
