Official Nike Air Max LeBron VII Weight In. China’s Drop Today! »

When you’re dealing with Nike you need to keep one thing in mind… nothing is set in stone. Yesterday we informed our readers about the inline VII being pushed back five days and now we have another last minute change. The China aka “Moon Cake” Nike Air Max LeBron VII will drop TODAY (10/16) instead of tomorrow at Footlocker’s House of Hoops stores (Houston should have the old date though). Now for the good news… we’ve prepared the official LeBron VII Weight In. It’s what you have been asking about. The Nike Air Max LeBron VII weights 17.65 oz (501 grams) for the China version and 17.85 oz (505 grams) for the More Than a Game limited edition. The average is 17.75 oz. That’s heavier than last year’s model, and definitely more than the lightest in the group Soldier III, but still not bad considering the use of the 360 Air Max unit. The flywire significantly helped to shave couple ounces off, cause usually Air Max basketball sneakers are still much heavier (f.e. Hypermax, which is about 19 oz).
