Nike and basketball superstar LeBron James continued their world tour with their first Chinese stop in Beijing yesterday. They introduced the fourth in a series of limited edition styles of the new Nike Air Max LeBron VII. In each of the ten cities the tour will visit, Nike will make 123 pairs of the Air Max LeBron VII shoe available to public at retail. The limited-edition shoe aesthetic is white with green trim, inspired by the school colors of Saint Vincent-Saint Mary High School (SVSM) in Akron, Ohio, where James played basketball. The Beijing limited edition style is available at the Nike Beijing Store and the Beijing Zhongyou Nike Basketball Store while supplies last. Each limited-edition style includes an image inspired by one of James’ six pillars or personal credos – Passion, Fearless, Tradition, Community, Family and Loyalty. The Beijing style represents “Tradition” and has an image of an SVSM pre-game ritual. Click here for more photos.
