Saint Vincent – Saint Mary Nike Zoom LeBron VI Away »

Just yesterday, by publishing the Zoom Soldier II SVSM Home Edition, we’ve completed the St. Vincent – St. Mary Zoom LeBron set. However, now, as the new season is in full swing it’s time to focus on the most recent kicks personalized for Irish’s ballplayers. Especially when one of them is slated for release at the House of Hoops in the Spring. Although you may have seen both – Home and Away – VIs on the famous ZLVI PE wall, we give you a better look as one pair has just popped up on eBay. It’s the Away edition and sadly it’s not the one scheduled to be released at the HOH. Although things may still change, it’s the Home, which is expected to drop in the upcoming months.

LeBron James’ 2009 NBA All-Star Jersey and Shoes »

Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James has been voted as a starter to the 2009 Eastern Conference All-Star team by the fans, it was announced last week by the NBA. James finished with 2,940,823 total votes. “The All-Star Game is always so meaningful to me because of the fans,” James said. He joins Kobe Bryant, Tim Duncan and Yao Ming as the only four players to have been selected as starters for each of the last five All-Star Games. Also, the 2009 All-Star Game jerseys have been unveiled. The correlation between LeBron’s Zoom LeBron VI ASG shoes (pictured below) is obvious now. The 58th NBA All-Star Game will take place in Phoenix, AZ on Sunday, February 15 at 8:00 p.m. ET.

Dime X Undrcrwn ‘LeBron or Bust’ New York Tees »

The LeBron to NYC hype isn’t over yet. With King James touching down in NYC next Wednesday, there is already word out that Nike has released yet another version of his Zoom LeBron VI (Taxi) specifically tailored to New York. Ohter companies are looking to get in on the fun as well. Dime linked up with basketball inspired clothing company Undrcrwn and came up with these tees poking fun at all the Knicks are doing to get King James to call the Big Apple his kingdom. LeBron or Bust! The tees come in two colors, as you can see in the pictures below, and will be available in limited quantity at select retailers.

An Exclusive Look at the Unseen Before SVSM Soldier II Home »

We’ve seen plenty (I mean really a lot!) of different Zoom Soldier II colorways. However, there are still some shoes that have not surfaced to the Internet. One of them is the featured below Saint Vincent – Saint Mary Home Edition. The Away version was released last year at Footlocker’s House of Hoops (NYC). As for other school Soldiers IIs, both Ohio sneakers hit the streets, but just like in the case of the SVSM only one CTK style made it through. Fairfax… well… only Lions’ basketball players get to wear them now. Props to Brian for the photos.

USA Basketball United We Rise LeBron Six Showcase »

Lately, it’s been all about the City Pack VIs, the Chalk edition, and some of the upcoming models (including two GRs and several exclusives, f.e. HWCs). But, let’s take a look back at the shoe that started the whole Six fever. After all the United We Rise Zoom LeBron VI, was the first to debut on the Hardwood, the Internet, and in stores too. Although, it was not easy to get a pair they have become very popular… probably because it’s the closest we have to the actual Olympic Gold Medal sneaker. They were released as a limited GR in Asia, and a Quickstrike in the U.S (NDC, NikeTown, House of Hoops). LeBron James tried to bring them back by wearing the Witness Gold edition on his birthday. Wearing Brons – Buckeyes Break Out the OSU LeBron VI »

In the latest edition of “Wearing Brons” we profiled Fairfax’s most recent Nike Zoom LeBron signature shoes. Looks like the Ohio State basketball team is catching up as well, because in their last game on Jan. 25, 2009, they were spotted wearing the Home/OSU edition of the ZLVI. Although it doesn’t feature the ‘O’ logo, the colorway is right on point. Maybe the black socks are not such a good idea, but the shoes match Buckeyes’ home unis just perfectly. Usually, OSU’s kicks are either reserved for the players only or distributed via limited channels such as the House of Hoops. This time, the Nike Zoom LeBron Six in the White, Silver and Red colorway is a General Release model, which has been already released in Europe and is slated for release in February in USA.

Another Nike Zoom LeBron Six Pre-release in Europe »

In late November, Nike surprised everyone with the early premiere of the Home Zoom LeBron VI in Europe (basically France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and United Kingdom). The Home aka OSU VI is scheduled to be released on 2/21/2009 in US along with the other upcoming GR model – Black/Royal/Maize. While the United States and Asia region are getting flooded with many exclusive colorways, Europe has received that special treatment once again. Same story as before… several European Nike online stores are offering the 346526-011 Black/White-Varsity Royal-Varsity Maize ZLVI almost one month earlier than originally stated. Depending on your location here are some links to each NDC: UK | France | Italy | Germany. Once again the best deal is in UK (83 pounds = $115), because other countries have them listed at 150 euro, which is almost $200!

Inspired By LBJ – Nike Game Five – Unofficial LeBron Sneaker »

Recently, we have profiled one of LeBron’s unofficial sneakers – Nike Air Believe. That was a way of catching up with the past in order to show you how great the influence of King James on the basketball shoes industry is. This time we look forward as we are eyeing the upcoming Nike Game Five. As the name suggests, it’s inspired by LeBron’s legendary performance in Game 5 of the 2007 Eastern Conference Finals. It not only refers to the game, but also James’ previous kicks – Zoom LeBron III (upper), Zoom Soldier II (middle), and Zoom Soldier I (outsole). L23 kicks are not among the cheapest out there, but with projects like that you can become a part of the legacy. You may not find the luxurious Zoom Air inside, however, it’s still worth checking out.
