An in-depth look at the Zoom LeBron IV Dunkman »

Whether it’s with or without LeBron’s Dunkman logo the “Dunkman” colorway has become an icon of the Nike LeBron signature series. Since it’s debut along with the Zoom LeBron II Dunkman edition each next sneaker from the family has been personalized using the Graphite, White and Mean Green style. At the beginning all the released colorways were only a PE, however, this year Nike has responded to public’s demand releasing Zoom LeBron Low ST and Zoom Soldier DUNKMAN as GRs. USA Basketball photo recap: U.S.A. vs Argentina »

The United States sealed the top seed in the Semifinal Round of the FIBA Americas Championship with a 91-76 victory over Argentina in the final game of the day on Thursday at the Thomas & Mack Center. The 15-point win for the U.S. was its’ smallest margin of victory in this tournament. Kobe Bryant scored 27 points — 15 in the first quarter — and the United States cruised into the semifinals of the FIBA Americas tournament. Carmelo Anthony added 18 points and LeBron James had 15 for the Americans, who will face Puerto Rico in one of Saturday’s semifinal games. A victory there gives them a berth in the 2008 Olympics.

Four new Nike Zoom Soldier colorways in October »

After releasing the primary Nike LeBron Soldier colorway in July, Nike has released several additional styles this month. However, it looks like they are ready to drop some more. Four new styles are coming to eastbay in October, which will sum up to 11 GR colorways! We’ve updated the [releases page] so check it out if you wanna know the style codes.

New poll – “King of the Summer” »

USA Basketball photo recap: U.S.A. vs Uruguay »

LeBron James couldn’t miss, not from 3-point range and certainly not while soaring for a series of powerful dunks. And that was all before halftime. James was 11-for-11 from the field, making all four of his 3-point attempts, and scored 26 points in the first half Wednesday night to lead the United States to a 118-79 victory over Uruguay in the FIBA Americas tournament. In a sensational display of speed and power, James raised his tournament-leading shooting percentage to an almost comical 79.7 percent (47-of-59). He is 14-of-20 from 3-point range, a 70 percent mark that also leads the event. Despite playing only 14 minutes, he fell two points shy of the American record in an Olympic qualifying game shared by Carmelo Anthony and Allen Iverson.

Nike Zoom LeBron 20-5-5 Wear Test Sample »

Nike Zoom 20.5.5 came a long way until it has become what it is now. For starters the initial name for these shoes was Nike Air Zoom Beast, which was replaced by the 20.5.5 stat line later on. The next details that has been modified are the “LeBron” and “James” logos on the tongue (chrome), the “2″ and “3″ scripts on the outsole, the number of lace holes and finally the most important… the traction pattern (upside down). Also the samples seem to be a higher cut and the leather/nubuck is reversed on the back of the shoe. Check out the photos below, which are available thanks to Zach13g.

USA Basketball photo recap: U.S.A. vs Puerto Rico »

The United States remained perfect at the FIBA Americas 2007 Championship, improving to 6-0 with a 117-78 victory over Puerto Rico on Tuesday night. Kobe Bryant’s 11 first quarter points gave the USA a 24-15 lead after the opening period in the final game of the day at Thomas & Mack Center. With the USA pulling further and further away as the quarter progressed, it was Bryant’s alley-oop to a streaking LeBron James who jammed home the basket with 1:48 remaining in the period which first pushed the USA’s lead above 30 points (56-25) and effectively put the Puerto Rican hopes of an upset to bed. James tallied a game-high 21 points while Carmelo Anthony added 17 and Michael Redd 15 for the Americans. At the midway point of the Second Round, only America and Argentina remain undefeated. Those two teams are set to square off on Thursday night and both are assured a berth in the semifinals.

Nike Zoom Soldier Black/Gold Sample vs GR »

At the beginning of this month several Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier colorways have been released to public. Some of them went straight to the stores in US, some of them hit the stores in Asia and some of them are only available online. One of the hardest styles to get at this moment is the Black/Black-Gold. Supposably they are available in a few spots in Asia, but there are some inconsistencies concerning the colorway. There are two different versions in the existence – one is an all-leather edition and the other one features the mix of black leather and black synthetic dual-strap system along with contrast stitching and minor crimson details.
