Infusing modern innovation with iconic Miami colors like teal and pink, the Nike LeBron 11 “South Beach” pays tribute to Miami’s acclaimed neighborhood. Nike started the trend back in 2010 with the LeBron 8’s and have been dropping South Beach inspired kicks every once in a while. The 2014 LeBron 11 version features Hyperposite technology for lightweight lock-down with a full-length Nike Zoom unit for outstanding cushioning, Hyperfuse mesh and Dynamic Flywire. The South Beach 11’s drop tomorrow for $200 and according to various store locators at Champs and Footlocker there will be plenty to go around.Read the rest of this entry »
Nike Basketball has just released the third colorway of the Nike Air Max LeBron X Low in “Violet Force”, but we’re barely halfway there with the new colorways. Two colorways – Black/Crimson and Crimson/Grey – are slated for next month with possible Yellow/Grey and the newly discovered Silver/Teal make ups to follow in the upcoming weeks. This new low-top LeBron James’ signature features a Silver upper with Black branding and Flywire threads. The shoe gets its Summit Lake Hornets vibe from Teal (outsole, lining) and Purple (bottom, tongue) details. A possible release hasn’t been confirmed yet, but it’s a very strong candidate right now. Stay tuned to NikeLeBron.net for updates.Read the rest of this entry »
So far we’ve been exposed to two Nike LeBron X P.S. Elite styles. The superhero colorway using the popular Blue and Orange color theme and the so called Easters during the Miami Heat’s loosing effort in Chicago last week. Today we get a second look at this new version of the Elites. At this point it’s uncertain if it’s just another PE, however, this pair matches a description of a possible May release… 579827-300 Sport Turquoise/Volt-Violet Force. The color blocking looks on point. Assuming the will be released… let us know if it’s a cop or a drop? Photo via TheClosetCollectors.
Here’s a look at the Nike Air LeBron 2 Slide Elite in a new Dark Atomic Teal/Total Orange-Atomic Teal colorway. I really don’t know what the Elite means here and how they are different from the regular non-Elite styles, but that’s exactly how they are labeled on the box. It might be those small Hyperfuse panels. Must be really important, though, because the price went up from $65 to $75! The colorway itself looks very nice. If you don’t mind spending $75 on a pair of flip flops, they might be a nice way to get comfy in the living room or at the pool. Continue reading for more pics.Read the rest of this entry »
We broke the news on the LeBron X Lows last week, and I still can’t get over the fact Nike applied their cost-saving approach and kept the whole midsole from the previous model. They are known to do that from time to time. Last time they did that with the Soldier V, which was equipped with the same midsole as the Soldier IV. Still, I expect the Nike LeBron collection, which is the most expensive signature line I know of, to offer features not limitations. That’s probably why I don’t like the new version, but hopefully it’s only a sample model and Nike will fix this somehow. Anyway, we finally get a decent look at the Teal/Green colorway.
