Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James threw down a powerful dunk in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference finals against the Atlanta Hawks. With just over a minute to play in the third quarter, James beat Atlanta’s Kent Bazemore off the dribble and drove to the rim. Center Mike Muscala, who saw his role increased after Al Horford was ejected, rose to meet James at the rim, but James stuffed the ball through the hoop with one hand.

LeBron Over Garnett – “With no regard for human life”

James added another monster dunk to his NBA Playoffs resume. The list includes a dunk from the 2007-08 second round of the playoffs against Kevin Garnett. This is also known as the “no regard for human life dunk,” because that was TNT announcer Kevin Harlan’s call after James drove the lane and windmilled the ball into the rim over Garnett even as he tried to stop James with a push. It was late in the fourth quarter and pretty much ended that game.

LeBron Over Rasheed Wallace

Remember the year LeBron James singlehandedly willed the Cavs to the NBA Finals? He did it by getting past a Detroit squad that had been known for their defense, and he did it violently flying over Rasheed Wallace. Sheed was always a tough interior defender that typically got his money’s worth out of plays like this, giving an opponent a shot to make sure they didn’t try it again. Here? Not a chance.
