Nike and King James Launch ‘Equality’ LeBron 15 PEs via $10 Draw »
Nike and LeBron James believe in the power of sport to move the world forward. Both strive to break down barriers, inspire action and bring people together. The EQUALITY initiative is centered on using the power of sport to inspire people and take action. For LeBron, Equality means that no matter your race, no matter your background, no matter who you are, we all have the power to stand up and speak for something.
With that goal in mind, LeBron boldly wore the “Equality” Edition of his 15th signature shoe to inspire everyone to engage in the conversation. Now, to continue that effort, Nike and LeBron proudly announce the limited release. LeBron wanted every person to have an equal opportunity to participate in getting a pair of the shoes. 400 pairs (200 black ‘897648-007’ and 200 white ‘897648-101’) will be available in the United States through an online drawing – available at equality.rallyup.com – to support and celebrate the commitment to inclusion.
Consumers can enter with unlimited $10 per-entry donations or can enter once per shoe size for free. Winners will be randomly selected for either a black or a white pair and are encouraged to find a winner of the alternate color to trade with in order to make a mismatched pair just like LeBron. All donations from the drawing go directly to supporting the programming of the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture.
The draw is officially open and will run through 11:59 PM EST on March 2nd. Winners will be notified on March 3rd, and shoes will be received by winners on March 5th. Good luck!
