LeBron X+ Gonna Cost You About $150… For Each Shoe! »

Currency conversions are tricky therefore we can never be sure about the actual price. Mainly because Nike sets difference MSPR’s for different locations. For example the Nike LeBron 9 which retails for $170 in the U.S. costs 160 Euros in Europe, which is no near the ~130 Euros after conversion. However, according to the graphic below the upcoming Nike LeBron X (back no roman numerals!) will come out in two versions… regular (price still under $200) and LeBron X+ with integrated Nike+ Basketball system. This special version is probably going to cost more than the previously announced Nike LeBron 9 P.S. Elite ($250). It’s going to be somewhere near $300 for a pair of basketball shoes! That’s crazy. According to Jason Petrie, LeBron James will lead Nike Basketball into the future starting with the Nike Hyperdunk 2012 this summer, but hopefully people won’t be trading cars for a pair of sneakers by then.
