Before his anticipated first-game in Cleveland, King James gave his fans a little sneak peek of what he planned on wearing that day. Apparently, apart from two Navy PEs a new Black and Yellow colorway was ready to be laced up. There’s also a pair of the Soldier 8’s in the picture… some claim it’s another PE, but in fact it’s just one of the Premium Player Pack shoes. The most interesting part of the photo below is probably the appearance of the Footcare Express performance insoles. This begs the question if there’s a cushioning problem with the 12’s. Several performance reviews describe the forefoot cushioning as “less pronounced” so maybe it’s one the solutions. However, LeBron has been using custom orthotics for quite a while.
