LeBron Puts on Another MVP Show. Mo Gets Recruited as Soldier. »
LeBron James had that unstoppable feeling. As if being the league’s MVP wasn’t enough, James scored 47 points in his best performance yet of these playoffs. Cavs take 3-0 lead after latest rout of Hawks. The Cavaliers improved to 7-0 in the playoffs, becoming the only team in NBA history to win each of its first seven games to start the playoffs by 10 or more points. LeBron James scored 25 of his 47 points in the second half. He finished with 47 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists, joining Michael Jordan as the only players in NBA postseason history with 45-10-8 in a playoff game. His 47-point explosion on Saturday marked the fourth time the NBA’s MVP has reached the 45-point plateau in a playoff game (4/53 games), placing him one behind Kobe Bryant among active players (5/160 games). Mo Williams – Cleveland’s second leading scorer – got King’s back by wearing the GR Soldier 3. Yet another trooper in the Cavs formation.
