Nike LeBron 9 Low – Summit Lake Hornets – New Images »

Continuing the preview of this year’s Nike LeBron 9 Low colorways is this detailed look at the Summit Lake Hornets edition, which is inspired by LeBron James’ first ever rec league basketball team. It’s very similar to the recently released Mid version. The low-cut also uses a vibrant combination of purple and aqua with the Hornet logo located on the back of the shoe. How do you like them in this lightning? The “Summit Lake Hornets” Nike LeBron 9 Low is expected to release in the upcoming weeks in the U.S., but it will drop tomorrow at select location in Asia.

Nike LeBron 9 Hornets Pack: Shoes, Socks, AW77 Hoody »

Last week, Nike Basketball tweeted an interesting photo presenting their latest release – Nike LeBron 9 “Summit Lake Hornets” – along with special Nike Basketball Elite socks and an AW77 hoody, both in matching colors. During the release there was no information about the socks or the hoody being available online at nikestore.com, however, the socks have already appeared on eBay. Similar to the limited Galaxy All-Star socks the re-sellers have taken the appropriate measures to ensure they won’t be available for sane prices. The Summit Lake Hornets inspired pair is the last of the LeBron 9 Highs before we get our dose of Lows & Elite Series. Also, it’s quite surprising to see them on top of the current poll for your favorite LEBRON 9 colorway in 2012 beating even the Galaxy / All-Stars. The 18th colorway to hit retail is a tribute to LeBron’s old AAU team… the Summit Lake Hornets. The official drop is scheduled for next Saturday, March 31st, 2012 at nikestore.com and select local spots like Mr. R Sports. Are these are your must have list?

More LeBron 9 Lows: “Turquoise/Purple” & “Red/Grey” »

New colorways of the Nike LeBron 9 Low keep rolling out. Adding to a bunch of new styles like Easter, Cyber, Entourage, … (there will be a lot!), are Turquoise Blue/Court Purple and Team Red/Challenge Red-Wolf Grey. The first one is a somewhat inverted version of the Summit Lake Hornets make up that’s coming out next week. The second one features a rather eye-catching palette, which consists of deep red Hyperfuse upper, white midsole and grey outsole. No release date right now, but I’m hearing June at the latest. Do you already have your favorite among the new low-tops?

LEBRON 9 “Hornets” Coming to a Store Near You on 3/31 »

The Summit Lake Hornets colorway of the Nike LeBron 9 is joining Griffeys, Dunkmans, and Mangos for a late March drop. The popular Purple and Teal combo is scheduled to release on March 31st, 2012. It will most likely be the last version to hit the streets before we move onto the Lows and P.S. Elites. However, Nike LeBron designer Jason Petrie hasn’t ruled out energy releases like for example MVP’s. Are these gonna appear on your shopping list for the next weeks?

New Photos of Nike LeBron 9 in “Purple/Teal/White” aka Hornets »

I sincerely hope everyone was able to get their favorite Galaxy shoes last night even though they sold out in an instant. There’s still a chance to get them at Nike local spots today. However, we are still far away from being done with the Nike LeBron 9. Three new colorways are slated for next month, but there’s one more version, which hasn’t been confirmed yet. The Summit Lake Hornets colorway is expected to hit the stores very soon, but there’s no official information or release date at the moment. Stay tuned for updates and check out these new photos, which popped up at Chinese online store.
