Miami Heat Goes “Black in Black” and Beat Kobe and the Lakers »

Last night, LeBron James had flu like symptoms, but he managed to fill the box score with 31 points, eight boards, eight assists, four steals and three blocks as his Heat were in charge the whole way in a 98-87 win over Kobe Bryant’s Lakers. Just like it was predicted a couple of days ago, LBJ has finally broke out the Triple Black version of the Nike LeBron 9. As usual, he wore them with different laces.

LBJ Debuts New Nike LeBron 8 V2 White/Red/Yellow Miami PE »

Last night, LeBron James picked up where he left off in Atlanta, shooting 6 for 8 in the opening quarter for 13 points. He finished with 33 for the game. On Friday was 8 for 8 from the field in the first half, when he had 20 points. He was just getting started. By the end of the third quarter James scored 43 points, including 23 after the break. James made 16 of 21 shots, including five 3-pointers in one of the best shooting games of his career. In yesterday’s game he also debuted a new pair of the Nike LeBron 8 V2. An unseen previously colorway is a perfect match for Miami’s Home uniforms. Finally a shoe with some Yellow on it. Too bad it’s a Player Exclusive.

Heat Get Needed Win, Beat Lakers. Stop Five Game Loosing Streak. »

Dwyane Wade’s steal late in the game set up LeBron James for the dunk that put Miami ahead to stay with 1:27 left. Chris Bosh scored 24 points in his first outing after saying he wanted more shots, and the Heat beat the Los Angeles Lakers 94-88 on Thursday night to end a five-game losing streak and hand the two-time defending NBA champions their first loss in nine games. “We had everything riding on this game, really, to be honest with you,” Bosh said. Wade, who also had been unhappy with a reduced role late in recent games, was the Heat’s closer Thursday. He scored eight of his 20 points in the fourth quarter and also hounded Kobe Bryant into an 8-of-21 shooting performance. Big-Z Comes Back. Cavs Top Kings Behind LeBron’s 34-7-8. »

The Cleveland Cavaliers welcomed back its adored center – Zydrunas Ilgauskas – on Sunday, honoring the big man best known as “Z” throughout the Cavaliers’ 97-90 win over the undermanned Sacramento Kings. As LeBron James joked, “It was the second-most anticipated comeback besides Michael Jordan.” Four Cavaliers notched double-figures, led by LeBron’s 34 points. The reigning MVP went 13-for-22 from the floor, adding eight assists, seven boards and three steals. James netted 23 of his game-high 34 in the second half. Cleveland currently holds league’s best W-L record with 58-16, three games ahead of the Los Angeles Lakers. Thier next four foes are Eastern Conference playoff teams, beginning with Wednesday’s night battle with the Bucks.
