If the newly discovered Instinct colorway could satisfy King James’ fans in Toronto, this new LeBron 12 version in Purple and Orange would be a great choice if he decided to sign with the Phoenix Suns. The Suns were one of six primary suitors for James’ talents for next season, but as we all know LeBron went home in the end. On the other hand, it could be just another PE version for Diana Taurasi. Take a closer look below and this new Nike LeBron XII sample and let us know if you’d like to see these in stores soon. Via @kicksordie.
There are at least three new LeBron 11 styles coming out in the upcoming weeks. At least that’s what has been already confirmed by Nike or other retail stores selling their merchandise. Next weekend brings us the special one… the All-Star Game exclusive… followed by the Prohibition colorway a week later, on February 22nd. Now we finally have a confirmed release date for what may be the last regular Nike LeBron XI… the Summit Lake Hornets. It is scheduled to be released on March 8th. All the current Nike LeBron release information is available here. Check out a couple of new looks at the Hornets pair including the 3M reflective pattern, which lights up the honeycomb and the Swoosh. Shout out to our reader Jamison for the heads up!

We still don’t have a concrete release date for the Summit Lake Hornets colorway of the Nike LeBron XI, but the new set of pics should keep you busy until the date arrives. My guess is that they will drop in / close to March based on the previous models. The presented Court Purple/Reflective Silver-Vivid Blue make up brings back the popular Hornets theme just in time for the reactivation of the Charlotte Hornets. That’s very good planning on Nike’s part.

Here’s a detailed look at one of the new colorways of the Nike LeBron ST II, which is sold exclusively in the Asia / Pacific region. By my count it’s already the 8th version available on the market. The presented Tropical Teal and Pure Platinum style is reminiscent of the Summit Lake Hornets look with it’s Aqua and Purple detailing. With this being most likely the last version of the LEBRON ST II what is your take on this special LeBron James signature sneaker? Did you get one? Would you consider buying if they were broadly available? I know I would. Share your thoughts in the comments below.Read the rest of this entry »
Last year, I was on the fence regarding the SOLDIER 6. It was a solid upgrade over the SOLDIER 5, but none of the colorways really caught my eye. There were some interesting designs like the Ohio State, but I was really disappointed with how the Orange Camo came out in real life. PEs were great, though… Christmas, All-Star you name it. This season we have been granted with the Nike iD privilege for the SOLDIER 7, but Nike is still releasing great colorways. One of them is the presented Court Purple/Blueprint-Flash Lime edition which is usually associated with the Joker. Apart from the design, the Nike Zoom Soldier VII offers a slightly better fit over the last year’s model. There’s more padding on the inside, the toebox area doesn’t seem so huge anymore and the lockdown is more naturally placed. I only wish Nike would use bigger Zoom Air bags. They are still very light. Check out the detailed gallery below.

The Raspberry colorway of the Nike LeBron 10 Low was released last Saturday in the U.S. and it’s expected to drop this weekend in Europe. Nike also used this theme for a couple of other sneakers and also the Nike LeBron Slide 2. This includes the Asia exclusive Nike LeBron ST line as seen below in the Court Purple / Raspberry make up. The Nike LeBron ST II is a good alternative for whose who are looking for a LeBron James’ signature low-top, but prefer a less bulky frame than the LeBron X Low and its 360 Air Max tooling. None of the Nike LeBron ST kicks are available outside of the Asia / Pacific region, but you can easily find a pair online or on eBay for about $100.Read the rest of this entry »
The presented Flash Lime colorway of the Nike Soldier 7 was the first to hit the blogosphere back in December. It really gained momentum when it was selected as the go-to-sneaker for the 2013 LeBron James Skill Academy. As a side effect some (re)sellers were trying to make people want these even more by saying it’s the Skills Academy limited edition, 100 pairs made, yadda, yadda, yadda… and asking $1000+ for a pair. Fortunately, it’s a plain old General Release. They popped up last week at Polish retailer ataf.pl, hence the fancy title photo, and they’re now available in the U.S. at both eastbay.com and nikestore.com for $125. Continue reading for a detailed look and let us know if you plan to pick up a pair. Personally, this is my favorite Nike Soldier colorway in years!

Last week, the nation’s top 80 high school players and top 20 college players participated in the annual LeBron James Skills Academy in Las Vegas. It’s a tradition for Nike Basketball to prepare special basketball gear just for the event. This year, Nike used Purple and Volt as the main theme for the outfits matching one of the upcoming colorways of the Nike Zoom Soldier VII. Even King James laced them up.
