The performance aspects of the Nike LeBron XI have been questioned ever since King James decided to go back to his previous model. I had been convinced it’s a beast of a shoe long before LeBron’s issues started to become apparent. Obviously I watch every game in search for LeBron’s crazy on-court PEs and it feels weird to see him wear the same shoe two years in a row. However, performance-wise it doesn’t matter. I believe it’s his best shoe to date… both on and off the court. It’s ironic how I fell in love with LeBron 11s and LBJ is struggling. According to the first reports it didn’t affect the sales, however, I still hope Nike will resolve this sooner rather than later. Like I said before… the shoes are simply too good to sit in a locker room. Find out why in the Nike LeBron XI review posted by Nightwing2303 via

Apart from the Training Day campaign and the LeBron 11 Away commercial, Nike Basketball put together a series of short videos focusing on the performance aspects of the Nike LeBron XI. Right now there are three of them featuring LeBron James in the gym wearing the King’s Pride colorway doing basketball drills. The first video titled “Cushion For Contact” puts focus on the Lunarlon and full-length Nike Zoom set up. The second one features “Support in Structure” referenced by the Hyperposite construction combined with PU based foam material, performance synthetics and mesh. The final clip is all about the “Fit to Form” and the Dynamic Flywire lacing system.

It took less than a week to lay our eyes on the first custom colorway of the Nike LeBron XI. Shortly after the LeBron 11 “King’s Pride” made its debut last week, Lancer Customs created a special “Kings Rings” custom make up. It is somewhat reminiscent of the Championship Floral design seen on the Nike LeBron X Low that was included in the Championship Pack a couple months back. The custom graphics on the upper are an extension to the Jungle inline pattern that was included for the initial LeBron XI drop. Continue reading for a detailed look.

There have been many questions regarding the latest installment in the LeBron James’ signature collection… the Nike LeBron XI. Nike claims the LEBRON 11 to be the lightest ever… and this time they have proved to be right and only the Soldiers can top them in this regard. The other topic I would like to address here is the sizing. I have never seen so many disputes over the fit of a shoe in the history of sneakers. Basically, LeBrons have stopped being a true to size shoe since the takeover by Jason Petrie, however, the VII’s were still considered to be TTS amongst many. There’s no doubt that the following years LEBRON 8-10 everybody went half a size up. This year… LeBrons are back to true to size (this includes the SOLDIER 7). I don’t want to make any guarantees here, because it’s a personal thing, however, how to put this… wearing the 10’s and 11’s in the same size is like night and day. If you can try them on that’s fine… if not take my word for what it is… a simple advice. For those who are still on the fence check the detailed look below, which includes the Nike LeBron XI hitting the scale. Shout out to my friends at where you can probably still get these (overseas).

I’m sure nobody actually needs a reminder, but the NIKE LEBRON XI is less than 24 hours away! The LeBron 11 in the Parachute Gold colorway, that also goes by the names of “King’s Pride” and “King of the Jungle“, showcases the evolution and maturity of LeBron James’ game and sneaker line. Serving as a seamless collage of Nike Basketball’s top tier technology, this beast of a sneaker sports a Hyperposite shell for protection, a combination of Hyperfuse construction and Dynamic Flywire support for lockdown and a pairing of Zoom Air and Lunarlon cushioning for spring responsiveness. The result? LeBron’s lightest signature shoe to date! The “King’s Pride” colorway only amplifies said styling, calling to whichever wild you’d like with its dark loden upper and flashy floral lining. Get a detailed view of the Nike LeBron 11 below, or browse the gallery, and look for these to launch at select Nike Basketball tomorrow morning. Roar!

With less than two days away from the official launch of the Nike LeBron XI we still await the premiere of the latest Nike Basketball commercial featuring LeBron James, bikes, beaches, and obviously the shoes. In the meantime folks at Nike have just released a short promo video that shows the LeBron XI King’s Pride built from the ground up. The clip focuses on the technical aspects of the shoe like how the Dynamic Flywire and the Hyperposite panels come together. It basically shows how the LeBron 11 has gotten leaner without losing strength and lower without sacrificing comfort.

The Nike LeBron XI “Parachute Gold” launches this weekend in a variety of sizes… Men’s, Grade School, Pre School and Toddler. Let’s take a closer look at the smallest of sizes available. Turns out the King of the Jungle colorway looks surprisingly good even as a Toddler. Let us know if you plan to pick up a pair for your little ones. Turns out I haven’t been up to date on the pricing of baby shoes because apparently Nike’s Toddler kicks cost $50 these days. You can get these now on eBay or wait for the official drop this Saturday.

It really seems like the quantity of the newly released sneakers is one of the best kept secrets these days. The biggest question right now is how many pairs of the King of the Jungle / King’s Pride colorway of the Nike LeBron XI will be actually released this weekend. Well, I don’t have the actual numbers, but let’s compare it to the launch of the LeBron X. Last year Nike started things with two very limited edition shoes – Gold Medal and Crown Jewel. Both dropped at House of Hoops stores and it was an instant sell out online at NDC (Twitter Link Only). The King’s Pride XI’s are already available from several online boutiques for $250-300. Additionally, it’s a global release so I really don’t expect us paying more than $200-300 in order to secure a pair. Pretty much every single Footlocker store is getting them (see the map below), however, the biggest concern is still the quantity per store. Please have in mind the demand is very high and it is the first colorway so they will fly off the shelves. Finding these for retail will be a challenge, but not something entirely impossible. Enjoy the new pics after the jump and let us know your strategy for the upcoming LEBRON 11 launch.
