Nike Basketball continues to hook up young LeBron fans with special gems like the presented below “Fruity Pebbles” colorway of the Nike LeBron XI. So far it’s only the Grade School version with the Men’s counterpart yet to be seen. However, most of the previous releases, which surfaced in Kids’ sizes first, ended up in Men’s too. Among many LEBRON 11 styles that dropped in November, there’s one more release that’s exclusive to Kids. It’s the Dark Sea/Gamma Green-Volt-Teal Pink also known as the Tyrannosaurus Rex colorway inspired by one of the fiercest animals to have ever lived. The design itself draws direct cues via T-Rex’s glowing eyes (volt), T-Rex’s scaly skin (two-toned green upper) and the dinosaur’s mouth (pink). The T-Rex Nike LeBron XI is available now at major Nike Basketball retailers including Finishline, Eastbay, and nikestore.com in a variety of sizes (Grade School, Pre School, Toddler).

So far, all of Grade School colorways of the Nike LeBron XI have their counterpart in the Men’s version. Even the T-Rex edition. This raises the question if the presented Fruity Pebbles concept will be available for the big boys and girls. The new LeBron 11 sneaker, pictured below, features a bright red upper complemented with white Swoosh logos. The most interesting part is of course the colorful outsole design reminiscent of the Fruity Pebbles LEBRON IV’s. Keep checking back to find out whether we’re looking at a GS exclusive or not.Read the rest of this entry »
The holiday shopping season is steadily approaching, and one of the popular Nike colorways that will be at the forefront this year will be “Gamma Blue”. The presented LeBron 11 in Armory Slate and Gamma Blue highlights a new approach to containment, support and natural motion created in a shade of blue representing unbreakable strength. The inspiration is based around tempered steel. At high heat, steel develops an oxide layer that’s blue in color. After being forged, steel is treated again to create an unbreakable resistance similar to LeBron’s style of play. The LeBron 11 Gamma Blue colorway represents superior integrity, optimal strength and strong impact resistance. A smooth Swoosh represents the tempered steel spectrum, from yellow to the distinctive blue. A full apparel collection in Men’s and Kids’ sizes will also release to hookup to the shoe. The LeBron XI “Gamma Blue” releases tomorrow, November 16th at major Nike Basketball retailers for $200. Check out more photos of the shoe and apparel collection below.

Following the initial look at the Dunkman LeBron 11, we now have a couple of new photos proving the new design is much closer to last year’s “Seaweed” colorway rather than the classic Dunkmans shoes. It’s still only the Grade School version, but if the previous looks at Christmas and Carbon XI’s are any indication here, the Men’s probably won’t change a whole lot. There are some good news, though. Last time I mentioned about the old Dunkman logo making a comeback on the insole, but turns out it’s also present on the tongue pull tab. Check out the new photos below and let us know how do you feel about the “Dunkman” Nike LeBron XI.Read the rest of this entry »

Some say the Dunkman theme has lost some of its appeal with the release of the Dunkman X’s… whether it was the Seaweed or the Volt colorway. It’s still a huge tradition, though. Here’s a preview of the Grade School version of the Dunkman LeBron XI. It’s a simple grey and silver upper with volt details on the Nike branding on the inner lining. Additionally, the Dunkman logo, in the original version (!), is placed on the insole. There are no release details available at the moment, but the question is… would you like to see these drop in men’s sizes? Let us know in the comments below.Read the rest of this entry »
Following yesterday’s news, we now get a second look at the Christmas Nike LeBron XI… again in the Kids’ version. Along with the much detailed pics we get a side by side comparison with the last year’s model… also in the Grade School colorway. The new version has turned Green, but it also features an unique Xmas tree pattern throughout the overlay with an icey finish on the Hyperposite and the outsole below. It’s chilling for sure. I am definitely a fan of this approach, but the initial reviews have been negative so far. Will the new photos change your mind? Let us know how you feel about this change?Read the rest of this entry »
