Nike is not willing to take a break from releasing new LeBron James’ signature kicks. When we thought they were done with the LEBRON X they showed us the Reptile Lows. Seems like things are just getting started for the Soldiers too. With only a couple of weeks left till the LEBRON XI drop, and the side-kick Ambassador series in Asia, we learn about yet another colorway that has been launched recently. Here’s the Black, White and Grey edition of the Air Max Ambassador V. It’s already the 9th colorway available on the market. I wonder if fans would be into the Ambassadors and ST’s if they were available in U.S.?Read the rest of this entry »
We’re only three weeks away from the initial drop of the Nike LeBron XI. The first to go is the Terracotta Warrior colorway, which drops much sooner in Asia, however, the King’s Pride will follow soon. The rumor has it that both will be somewhat limited, which brings us to the first truly General Release style – the Black and Red Miami Heat edition. It is also scheduled to release this October. It’s the perfect color scheme for King James to rock on the road matching the Heat uniforms. Look for these to hit Nike Basketball accounts on October 31st in Men’s and Kids’ sizes for $200.Read the rest of this entry »
The Nike LeBron XI is going to launch globally on October 12th in the King’s Pride colorway. Fans in Asia will be able to get the XI’s sooner, because the Terracotta Warrior version will drop on October 1st in Greater China and nearly 2 months later in other countries. The classic Black and Red colorway will be released on October 31st… just in time for the 2013 NBA Season. The newly discovered Gamma Blue LEBRON 11 joins the pack with an official launch on November 16th in a variety of sizes (Toddler, Preschool, Grade School, Men’s). We are steadily approaching the launch of LeBron James’ 11th signature sneaker. That’s a pretty good amount of signature models, trailing only you know who, and that isn’t even counting his secondary Soldier series nor his Asia exclusives like Ambassadors and ST Lows. The LeBron line took off for good and gained mass appeal along with the arrival of Jason Petrie as the lead designer and his first creation – the LEBRON VII. Equipped with a progressive approach to structural problem solving and the technical know-how to execute those concepts effectively, JP possessed all the teachable tools needed to be a successful designer, but it was his more intangible sense of style and an understanding of what the sneaker-buying public wanted from a LeBron shoe that took the LeBron VII to new heights. With the LEBRON XI right around the corner, only 47 days left :), what a better way to prepare than to re-visit some of the most innovative designs in recent years… all side by side… feature by feature. If you wanted a detailed comparison of all shoes from the Petrie Era then head over to Sneaker News’ SELECT and soak in some all the extra information… or continue reading for all the pics.Read the rest of this entry »
King James has not one, but at least two significant signature shoes series designed for his fans in the Asia / Pacific region. Apart from the Ambassadors, he usually kicks back wearing the ST low-tops. Here’s another great colorway. Officially labeled as the Cool Grey/Atomic Red-Black, this Nike LeBron ST II features a Black / Grey upper with Atomic Red details, which is closer to Pink rather than actual Red. You can’t get these in the States nor Europe, but for those who are determined to get a pair try eBay. This is one of those rare cases when it’s the easiest and the cheapest way.Read the rest of this entry »
LeBron James has recently showed off his All Black collection of LEBRON 1-10 signature sneakers. For some shoes Nike simply filled in the blanks in previous releases, which did not offer predominantly Black make ups. For others it was a chance to create an alternate version like for example the LEBRON II. Even though we usually get the Triple Black styles released, James’ personal pairs are usually different. In most cases his Player Exclusive version sports a Black upper with a big white Swoosh. This way… it’s much easier to notice the Nike branding on the TV. The LEBRON 9 Triple Black PE has recently hit eBay, which offers a detailed look at this rare Player Exclusive style.

I’m in love with the Nike LeBron XI! It’s that simple. Here are some new images of the Nike LeBron XI in the Black / Red / Metallic Silver colorway and just like yesterday with the Parachute Gold colorway it’s probably the nicest look around that’s available for your viewing pleasure. This Miami Heat-inspired style features a combination of Black and Red over on the upper throughout the Hyperfuse and Armorposite panels. Hits of metallic silver handle the logos on the tongue and the big midfoot Swoosh. Additional speckles add a more of a pop. Continue reading for more pics.Read the rest of this entry »
