The staple Black and Red colorway used to be the first to drop. Nowadays, the energy styles like South Beach, Cannon, Jewel or the China editions… your Jades, Teracottas etc. that go first. However, if you wanted to picture the evolution of the LeBron James’ signature collection it would be the “Breds” for sure that have been associated with either the Cleveland Cavaliers or the Miami Heat. Here’s the upcoming Nike LeBron XI dressed in traditional Miami Heat road colors. There are scheduled to be released on… actually there are two different dates… October 31st (Foolocker) and November 1st (Nike global release). Last week, during one of the pre-game presentations, LeBron James wore the Nike Ambassador VI in the Miami Heat-esque Black and Red colorway. He switched them out for the game, though. Turns out, the all new AMBASSADOR 6 is already available in a couple of colorways, which include the presented Black and Red make up. The tradition continues as the sixth installment of the Nike Ambassador is available exclusively in the Asia / Pacific region. You can get them pretty easily via eBay for $130-150.Read the rest of this entry »
Turns out I was right when I wrote that the Black and Red colorway of the Soldier 7 “is a good candidate to rock in one of the pre-season games” for LeBron James. Call it a hunch. He wore these in Miami’s first game of the season, however, he switched out for the LEBRON X in the second half. In the first three games of the NBA Preseason, James covered pretty much the whole spectrum of his signature shoes. He mainly wore his LeBron X Miami Heat PEs (both regular and Elite), but occasionally you could see him in the new Soldiers and Ambassadors. With only four Men’s colorways of the Nike LeBron XI unveiled so far we, once again, turn to the Kids’ version for a preview of things to come. Here’s a look at a new Black and Pink colorway that uses a Carbon Fiber finish on the Hyperposite panels. Additionally, the shoes come with a blue translucent outsole and pink details on the inner lining and the LeBron James signature on the bottom on the shoe. It’s too early to tell if a Men’s counterpart is in the works, but be sure to check back for more updates on all LEBRON 11 styles.Read the rest of this entry »
The Miami Heat may have wanted training camp to take place in the Bahamas, in part, to lessen the circus-like media attention given to them. This makes finding photos from their practice sessions that much harder. The time before the regular season starts is when LeBron James is usually trying out different kicks… Ambassadors, Soldiers etc. The presented Black, Bright Crimson and Dark Grey colorway of the Nike Zoom Soldier VII is a good candidate to rock in one of the pre-season games. It’s a nice match for the Miami Heat away or alternate uniforms and we all know Pat Riley is very strict in this matter and players’ shoes simply have to match the jerseys. This colorway is already available in Europe and Asia, but the U.S. launch date is still pending. In order to make the waiting period as pleasant as possible, browse through the gallery below with plenty of nice photos.

This year, Nike has added a couple of new styles into the mix. This includes new colors like Armory, Gamma Blue or Green Glow. If you’re a fan of the Green Glow theme that has been applied to numerous models across the Nike brand sneakers, but mostly Jordans, chances are you’ll love the new version of the Nike Zoom Soldier VII. It’s a plain Black upper with hits of Green Glow on the strap and the Swoosh border, which make these kicks pop. If you’re looking for new basketball shoes you really should check out the new Soldier 7 and this is a very nice colorway to consider for a cop. You can get these today at nikestore.com for $125. Showcased on the LEBRON 11, Nike Hyperposite technology is the innovative line of defense that makes LeBron James’ latest protective suit the most advanced ever. James is a warrior who’s sprinting, leaping, dunking, shooting and passing with a combination of weight and speed that’s seemingly superhuman. He needs protection, containment and responsiveness that’s equally revolutionary. Nike Hyperposite technology redefines the breakthrough Foamposite upper that encases the foot. It allows for flexibility and feel by combining it with the Hyperfuse construction that delivers a stitch-free, seamless fusing of materials for natural motion. Evolving Foamposite means a targeted design with precise lines and unsurpassed reinforcement where it matters. Less bulk, less weight and the capability to apply thicker applications in key contact areas. Nike Hyperposite technology is the ultimate addition to James’ arsenal of innovation. The Miami Heat away edition of the Nike LeBron XI highlights the Nike Hyperposite technology and supportive Dynamic Flywire technology like never before. A special shade of red represents intensity levels of heat, while speckled Nike Hyperposite technology is a bold addition. The LEBRON 11 Away edition will be available globally at select retail locations and nikestore.com beginning November 1st.Read the rest of this entry »
The Miami Heat Home edition of the SOLDIER 7 was released as one of, what I like to call, the signature styles. The Away edition has been now added to the mix. While there’s already a Black / Red colorway available featuring that unique print on the midfoot strap, this version is more likely to be paired with a Miami Heat jersey. The presented Black, Grey and Red colorway of the Nike Zoom Soldier VII initially popped up at Polish retailer ataf.pl, but it is also present in the Finishline online catalogue.
