King’s Feet: LeBron James Goes Red on Allstar Media Day. Wears Deion LeBron VII PE. »

During yesterday’s NBA Allstar Media Day, LeBron James sported a very interesting look by wearing a red sweatshirt featuring his new WITNESS logo surrounded by two lions. Additionally, he decided to match it with a pair of red shoes, of course. He selected a last year’s model – the Air Max LeBron VII – in a Deion Sanders inspired colorway from the Heroes Pack. Nike Air Max LeBron VII NBA All-Star Game Exclusive Showcase »

Recently, most of the talk about the VII has been focused around what we didn’t get from Nike. However, in all honesty, we did get some nice shoes. After all there were 15+ different colorways released. While we still hope the MVP’s will be the final pair to drop, let’s take a closer look at LeBron’s All-Star Game Exclusive. This season Nike did a great job utilizing Dallas’ unique atmosphere. You can feel the Texas western theme as the main inspiration here – f.e. wood grain pattern on the upper and special leather patches. The make up was very bright this year (Chlorine Blue), which is something entirely new. Usually shoes are an exact match with the uniforms, but not this time. Nike was clearly focused on bringing more colors to life. All of the graphics on the upper are 3M reflective, which gives a very unique look when hit by light. Nike Air Max LeBron VII All-Star Limited Edition Showcase »

A lot has changed since the All-Star break. The Cleveland Cavaliers made some interesting trades as they seem more prepared for the upcoming NBA Playoffs. However, they are currently on a 3-game losing streak instead of the franchise best 13-game winning streak. Let’s hope that’s due to the required adjustment period. Some things stayed the same, though. LeBron’s ASG kicks are just as nice as they were before. Probably even hotter after seeing them on court in Dallas. 2010 NBA All-Star Game Preview: LeBron James’ Air Max VII »

There’s no greater scene to showcase your shoes than the NBA All-Star Game. Eveybody knows that. The players, the fans, the designers, and of course sneaker companies’ marketing teams. Each year marquee athletes sport some of the craziest colorways out there. This year, Nike did a great job utilizing Dallas‘ unique atmosphere on all of their ASG products. As for the shoes the inspiration is Texas western theme including a wood grain pattern inspired by ranches in the Dallas area. All of the graphics on the panels are 3M, which pop out whenever some light hits the shoes. Additionally, special leather patches on the insoles have a pattern of stars representing the number of times each of the teams have won the All-Star game. The make ups are very bright this year, which is also new this season. Instead of matching the shoes with the main color on the uniforms… Nike got more aggressive and focused on the secondary colors bringing the freshest colors to life. 2010 NBA All-Star: King James with the Black/White/Gold AMLVII »

The main event of the 2010 NBA All-Star Weekend is still almost two days away. On Friday, Cavaliers All-Star forward LeBron James sat down with Steve Smith from NBA TV to discuss the second half of the season and his All-Star kicks to be unveiled on Sunday night. He also played some basketball with his sons Bryce James and LeBron James Jr. Throughout the day he was wearing the Black, White and Gold edition of his latest signature shoes – Nike Air Max LeBron VII. Accidentally enough the shoes are about to hit stores on a global scale. Be on the lookout on Saturday as he might unveil some more heat. Last year he introduced the Akron Six. Releasing Now: Nike Air Max LeBron VII All-Star Game Edition »

The Allstar LeBrons hit Eastbay last night. We tweeted about that yesterday. Now they’re up on NDC. At this moment, there’s still a Full Size Run available. Bad news is nikestore charges $20 more than other retailers. The Air Max LeBron VII All-Star Limited Edition is also available at House of Hoops stores. Apparently, they come with an additional pair of light blue laces (picture below). Nice touch. Click here for a complete gallery of the All-star VII. Hopefully we will post our own pics soon. Nike Max LeBron VII All-Star 2010 Exclusive Release Information »

We get tons of emails with questions about the availability of the All-Star VII’s, so let’s try to answer some of those. Clearly, they are one of the favorites this year as they have dominated the current poll. The ASG Max LeBron 7 is a Limited Edition and it’s probably the most exclusive colorway so far. Nike didn’t make an official announcement yet, but our sources claim they will be released at Footlocker’s House of Hoops stores and several other Nike urban accounts in the Dallas area. The official release date is 2/6 instead of 2/12 (confirmed with HOHNY). Also, similar to previous installments, check your nearest NikeTowns. They will drop this Saturday. Additionally… Asian online boutiques will carry a limited number of the shoes (f.e. kix-files.com) one week after the 2010 All Star Game. The retail will be $160. Be on the lookout at NDC and Eastbay.

LeBron James’ 2010 NBA ASG Shoes – Nike Air Max LeBron VII »

Over the past few days tons of pics presenting new LeBron sneakers have surfaced the Internet. I hope you’re ready for some more, cause it ain’t over. We previewed LBJ’s All-Star game shoes yesterday and the day before, but now as nearly 30 new photos have hit the blogs we go into the details. The Nike Air Max LeBron VII All-Star Limited Edition features a Chlorine Blue/Black colorway with a Woodgrain 3M reflective pattern on the upper. Apart from the usual LeBron logos, there are couple nice touches spilled all over the shoes reminding us it’s an All-Star version. For example: special insoles with an EAST 2010 badge on it and customized laces with labels reading East and 2010. The Allstar VII’s are said to be released on Friday, February 12th, 2010 at House of Hoops locations and selected Nike accounts in Texas. Continue reading to see all new photographs.
