we can edit post but not the title to the post.

editing the title can come in use for notifing users that the post has spefiic updates.

Sorry that would be impossible. I will ask the authors about that, but as far as I know only moderators can do that, cause it's one of the 'manage topics' feature. You can always PM me and I can change it for you (I know it's not a good solution). As far as the listings are concern I don't have a problem with multiple threads.
