Nike Air Max LeBron VII Cleats Personalized for King James »

It’s not the first LeBron James cleats shoe from Nike, but it’s the first time for the Nike LeBron VII. See how the initial colorway of the Air Max LeBron VII has been transformed into baseball cleats. Everything is on point aside from the Air Max midsole, of course. Supposedly, it’s been made for King James himself to wear in a charity softball game. Photo courtesy of Bkals.

Unreleased LeBron VII Sample Inspired by “Fortune” Cover »

Designer of the Nike LeBron VII, 8, and 9, Jason Petrie has just posted yet another unreleased version of the Nike Air Max LeBron VII on his Twitter account. The colorway of the never-before-seen LBJ7, which is still almost impossible to count these days, was inspired by a cover of Fortune Magazine, which King James graced back in 2007. It features a Black and White upper with hints of Blue and Yellow matching the cover’s design.

Unseen Nike Air Max LeBron VII “Red & White” PE »

I don’t think we’ll even know about the actual number of all the Nike Air Max LeBron VII make ups designed by Nike’s finests. This PE & Samples collection is making me mad each time I look at it, but consider the fact that the LeBron VII Listing is already nearing 100 shoes. Sure, the 7 P.S. and MTAG’s have been included, but the array of Player Exclusives is still huge. The latest addition is this new Red and White colorway. Personally, I think there’s too much Red, but it’s hard to compete with the Xmas Sample. There’s no contest after seeing those.

Throwback Thursday: LEBRON VII “Heroes Pack” Jordan PE »

One of the most intriguing stories focused on signature sneakers of the modern era was the so called “Heroes Pack” created for the Air Max LeBron VII. Designed by Jason Petrie and his team, the Heroes Pack was a tribute to LeBron James and his childhood idols – Deion Sanders, Penny Hardaway, and Michael Jordan. The Jordan pair was inspired by the Air Jordan XI, which judged by the recent events is still ultra-popular among sneakerheads. We can only imagine what it would be like if the LeBron X Jordan make up was actually released to public. Hopefully the Ken Griffey Jr’s won’t suffer a similar fate.

Throwback Thursday: Nike LeBron VII “Penny” Alternate PE »

One of Nike’s best ideas was creating the Heroes Pack for the Nike Air Max LeBron VII. One of their worst ideas was not releasing it to public! The Heroes Pack consists of three pairs, each commemorating one of LeBron James’ childhood idols – Michael Jordan, Deion Sanders, and Penny Hardaway. There were two versions of the Jordan pair, but there are also two of Penny’s. Pretty much the only difference between them are the Orlando Magic-esque stripes on the air max unit. Seriously, I will never get over these.

Throwback Thursday: Nike Air Max LeBron VII “SVSM” Alternate »

Back in the day, when the Air Max LeBron VII ruled both on-court and off-court appeal, Nike released 10 different SVSM inspired colorways as a part of the More Than a Game campaign. Additionally, there were two special make ups, Home & Away, customized for the Saint Vincent Saint Mary High School basketball team. They were PEs and did not release to public. Today we take a look at an additional pair, an alternate SVSM colorway, which was previewed during an interview with Jason Petrie. Continue reading for a better look.

Nike Air Max LeBron VII – Unreleased PEs & Samples Collection »

Over the last few days we’ve been posting about newly discovered unreleased Nike LeBron 8 colorways. It may take a while for more of those to surface the Internet, but it would be much better to write about shoes hitting stores instead. Last season a similar thing happened. It’s really too bad Nike decided to limit the number of shoes being released the same year as the Nike LeBron VII took the center stage. Both seventh and eight in the line have produced plenty of eye-catching make ups. This time we present a gathering of the best LeBron 7 Player Exclusives in the gallery below. The list includes HWCs, Heroes Pack, 112′s, South Beach Lows, and even Hyperfuse samples. Pics Via feedingthestreets.com.

Nike LeBron VII Low “CSKA Moscow” Woven Sample »

Nowadays saying that LeBron James is going to play in Russia wouldn’t be so crazy, I guess. Many NBA players are currently seeking other options due to the ongoing lockout. However, long before King James decided to play in South Beach, Nike had created a so called “Rumor Pack” consisting of 4 different shoes representing 4 different locations. The Red one stood for Russia… CSKA Moscow to be more precise. This is how the General Release version looked like, but we also profiled a Sales Sample, back in the day. There seems to be one more sample version featuring a Woven upper and a classic, for “The Decision” related samples, question mark on the back of the shoe. Photos via Zach13g.
