Leaked: Nike Zoom LeBron III “Oakland Raiders” Player Exclusive »

LeBron James’ favorite football team is the Dallas Cowboys, but what we’re looking at is the Nike Zoom LeBron III in what seems to be an Oakland Raiders colorway. Even if that’s not the true inspiration, it’s the first time for this White/Black/Silver make up to appear online. We definitely didn’t get enough of the III’s released to public. Christmas Special: Nike Zoom LeBron III “MVP” aka Superman PE »

In 2005-2006 LeBron James was very close to winning his first NBA MVP award. Instead, we had to wait three more years for his first title. If it weren’t for Cleveland Cavaliers’ mere 50-32 record, things could have went differently. You’re probably familiar with two Superman PEs, that Nike created during that season. Fans were hoping for these colorful make ups to hit the streets, but unfortunately, that never happened. There’s a third version, which we did also preview a while back. Those two blurry pics were the only proof of its existence. The Nike Zoom LeBron III MVP PE is basically the same as the Blue Superman with just a few minor changes. Enjoy these new detailed photos, a special Christmas gift from a buddy of mine. Merry Christmas to all LeBron fans!!!

Nike Zoom LeBron III Hybrid featuring 360 Air Max Bottom »

During the launch of the Sole Collector x Jordan CMFT Max 11, that took place this past weekend, one of the staff members wore a very interesting hybrid shoe. It’s the Nike Zoom LeBron III with Zoom Air cushioning swapped for the running specific Air Max system. This custom build look very interesting and makes us wonder… what if… other LeBron shoes would be customized this way. It’s still unclear if it’s a custom job or an unseen Nike sample, but either way the end result is very nice. Sole swapping is a popular practice among hardcore sneakerheads.

Throwback Thursday: Nike Zoom LeBron III USA Basketball PE »

After profiling the Dunkman series, which was great, we’ve moved onto the next best thing – USA Basketball. The shoes you see below are special. It’s one of the rarest LeBron PEs… especially when you consider his actual game shoes. They were used by The King during the 2006 FIBA World Championship… along with the USAB version of the Nike Zoom 20-5-5. They’re impossible to get so please don’t ask about the availability. Fortunately, one of our friends – Steve aka srr1175 – have sent us these new photos in order to complete the theme page for LeBron James’ USA kicks. Some of our readers haven’t had a chance to see them before, so we’ve decided to post them up as a separate post. Enjoy!

Rare Nike Zoom LeBron III Low – White & Black Dunkman PE »

Nike LeBron‘s Dunkman theme is usually acknowledged with a combination of Green, White and Grey. It even happens that the Dunkman logo is missing like in the case of the Zoom LeBron V and Zoom Soldier I. Sometimes the Grey is Light Grey, sometimes it’s the famous Gun Metal Grey, but recently it’s been swapped for Black on the Air Max LeBron VII. Same with the Green component… usually it’s called Mean Green, however, the VII sported a slightly different shade – Electric Green. All these variations are just minor changes and in most cases the end result still screams the Dunkman. There’s been some exceptions from that routine (f.e. Zoom LeBron VI Low) and it’s started very early… along with the low-top Zoom LeBron III. You might not be familiar with this shoe as it wasn’t released to public, plus it’s a very limited Friends & Family edition. It’s one of the first Dunkmans, it even features the “old Dunkman” logo and surprisingly it’s pure Black & White. No Grey, no Green, but it’s still a Dunkman. We’re currently compiling a complete list of Dunkman LeBrons for The Collection and it’s given us a chance to share these beautiful kicks. Thanks to Chris, Jake, and Vince for sending the photos.

Throwback Thursday: ZLIII NBA All-Star Houston Laser Map PE »

When LeBron James took home his first ever NBA All-Star Most Valuable Player award he was wearing a special ASG edition of the Nike Zoom LeBron III. Back then only a handful of LeBrons were released to public (eight colorways) and three of them were very limited (China, Birthday, and All-Star). It was long before Nike started dropping 20 to 30 different styles like in the case of the most recent Zoom Soldier II and Zoom LeBron VI. Also, there was a small number of GRs available, but plenty of PEs and Samples. One of the Player Exclusive colorways was a special make up of the 3′s with Houston Map lasered on the upper due to the fact of hosting the 2006 NBA All-Star Game. In the past it was difficult to gather any pics, but thanks to Nike Basketball we are able to share some today.

Nike Zoom LeBron III Wear Test Prototype New Photos »

For those, who visit our listings on a regular basis, the shoe you see below is no news. Neither is the other wear test sample. However, I’m sure some of you are seeing this for the very first time. This Nike Zoom LeBron III prototype is similar to the actual production model as all the components seems to be the same – dynamic straps, outsole, midsole – but doesn’t feature the usual logos and the carbon fiber is missing too. More photos below.

The LEBRONS – “Kid” Nike Zoom LeBron III Showcase »

These shoes, one of four LeBron Nike Zoom III colorways that represent a character in the “LeBrons” commercials, reflect Kid LeBron’s animated personality. A play on LeBron’s youth compared to other NBA players, he is a youngster just looking to have fun. The Kid ZLIII features SVSM-like colors, which also corresponds with James’ childhood.
