LEBRON 9 “China”: Release Date, Pricing, and Orange Laces »

Every year Nike & LeBron give their China fans a chance to have their own special shoes. Usually they were white based shoes with red as the complementary secondary color. This year it’s gonna be a whole different theme. Also known as the “Fire Lion” Edition, the China LBJ9 is a tribute to Chinese culture, and the Miami HEAT. Chinese character for “fire” is embroidered on the heel tab, along with a fearsome motif of the Chinese Stone Lion embedded on the tongue. The blue fire is the hottest part of the flame so there’s your HEAT connection. China 9′s will be released on Saturday, October 1st, for 1599 RMB or 250 USD. Continue reading for a very detailed gallery, which unveils new details including alternate Orange laces and insole and much more. Still no word on any type of release outside of Asia.
UPDATE: Word from Nike is that Chinas won’t cost $250!!!
UPDATE #2: The price will stay the same as all the regular season LBJ9′s $170!

    WTF!!! $250 for Retail on these shits. I thought they weren’t going to start RAPING us until the Lebron 9 PS dropped. BULL SHIT. If they dont drop in the US I will certainly stab somebody.

    IMO $50 over retail is hardly rape price. But thats just me. Retail would be much better but for this shoe I would gladly pay that price to lock in a pair. Then again you have to consider I wear a size 14 and the China edition has always been the hardest Bron for me to get every year cause there only ever ends up being maybe no more than 3 pairs tops that hit ebay in my size and that is only if they release in the U.S. cause no way in hell are they gonna drop any size 14s in China cause Yao Ming is practically the only Asian who wears over size 11.5 LOL!!!!!

    $220 is just the start for the small sizes.. On kix-files and other similar websites charge more for bigger pairs.. So it would be well over $50. But then again, if u want the shoes no amount is too much for a pair.. I wonder how NikeiD will be set up.. I hope we can NikeiD them straight from scratch.. But if I had to guess it would be something like the soldier iv’s, generic color-ways that you can personalize with your initials on the inside side of the shoes or something.. I just want to be able to pick the color of the laces lol.

    Oh yeah JR_LYON I see where it says full options available.. Thanks. Do you think they will let you make the colorways that come out originally or do you think they will have like a copywrite on those.. Like you might be able to make a similar blue and orange pair but not the china edition with the Chinese symbol for fire in the back.. Just an example.. Going to be interesting when they get released…

    Nikelebron did say there is a u.s release scheduled but no other info.. It’s the post about the lebron 9 going to NikeiD.. If your going to lock up a pair also try air-knight.com (paypal only) or rmkstore.com. I saw those sites have a preorder deal as well.. I ordered from air-knight before and they are on point..Try to find the best price (I know, I’m stating the obvious) The bigger your size, the more they charge.. Usually $40 to ship because it’s usually comin from China from those sites… Good luck!

    I’d say go for it on kix-flies man. Just to be sure you get the shoes. If they hit the U.S. it’s not guaranteed you will get them. It’s up to you though man. Luckily at the moment these are under rated.

    Honestly I am gonna say these are gonna be true to size. I think fit will be similar to the 8 PS only way more comfortable
