LeBron 9 Quotes James’ Favorite Movie “Gladiator”. New Photos. »

As you can see on our tattoo page LeBron James has a tattoo placed on his left and right bicep. Right arm reads “What we do in life” and the left follows? “echoes in eternity“. It is a quote form LeBron’s favorite movie – “Gladiator“. He even named his second son after the movie: Bryce Maximus James. Yesterday we saw plenty of detailed shots presenting the upcoming Nike LeBron 9, but one thing has eluded our attention. The front part of the outsole has the same quotes split between right and left shoes. The LeBron 9 is shaping up to be a decent basketball shoe. One thing bothers me though… I would have preferred the Lionhead insignia over the signature on the top of the tongue. If it ain’t broken, don’t fix it.

    Yeah I would rather have the Lionhead too..They could of put the signature right under the L crown J logo on the heel. I like how it at least has his name on the left and right heel on the midsole. You can see it in the entry before this one in the third pic down. At least that is somewhere on there.. I’m sure you gotta see the shoe in person to give it justice..

    I don’t really get it. Lebron’s shoes for the past 8 years was bad ass! Except for Lebron IV that was the most heavy shoes. What in the world Nike thinking!? HELL NO!

    correction it was the lebron III was the heaviest, the IV was the foam type

    Honestly, I like them. They will grow on to me a lot more as they keep the pics coming with new color ways. And I’m loving the details on the shoe, but then again this could be a sample.

    I love the quotes and the overall design but the silloute could have been done better. I see what they or jason was trying to do with inovation but come on. You can already see the creasing in the midsole…the shoe looks plain cheap. I guess we have the box to look forward too…
