Despite not having a decent outlet in the mass media, like for example the NBA Playoffs, I hope the Nike Zoom Soldier IV won’t get overlooked by basketball fans. It’s still a great shoe although it’s a new experience for those who are used to LeBrons being Zoom Air based shoes. Destined to be remembered as the shoe LeBron James used in his first preseason as a member of the Miami Heat, the ZS4 probably won’t get much love once the actual NBA Season. That’s when the LEBRON 8 will start to dominate. However, having played in both, I still can’t choose the favorite. On one hand there’s this lightweight, explosive and well-fitting platform. On the other it’s this mad comfy, ultra-cushioned, and super protective beast of a shoe. If you’re looking for a pair, check out the White/Navy/Gold style reminiscent of Akron Zips’ signature colorways. It’s available at Finishline, Eastbay, and Pickyourshoes.
