Nike Air Max LeBron VIII (8) – Black/White/Red – Detailed Photos »

New photos presenting the next LeBron James shoe have surfaced the Internet. It’s the Nike Air Max LeBron VIII in the standard Black, White and Red colorway. This time the shoes are in Men’s size 9, so there’s no place for excuses about any disproportions caused by a smaller frame. In fact, the AMLVIII looks much better now. However, I still don’t like one thing. The upper combines luxurious looking Flywire / Carbon fiber panels with nubuck material, which feels cheap. We’ve been used to an extensive use of Patent Leather in the past, however, regular leather or mesh of some kind would be a better choice here. There are a number of interesting details including a woven patch on the back of the tongue, which reads “DESIGNED AND ENGINEERED TO THE EXACT SPECIFICATIONS OF MR. LEBRON JAMES 828″. Yesterday we asked you about a new logo for King James. In this case the only one present is the Lionhead on the top of tongue. Seems like it has an edge for now. More photos after the break.
