Throwback Thursday: Nike Zoom Soldier Fairfax PE Patent Leather »
There’s always some controversy around Fairfax LeBron sneakers and that was exactly the case when this shoe hit House of Hoops back in 2007. It was the first and the last shoe featuring the Fairfax logo that was released to public. Shortly afterwards a bunch of logo-less samples were made, but they were too late to replace them at the HOHNY. The reason for that mishap was lack of a legal agreement with the California Federation of High Schools. Anyway, seems like another version of the Fairfax Nike Zoom Soldier exists. This one comes with the logo, but has a Patent Leather toebox. Nowadays only Lions’ basketball players get the Fairfax’s, but it’s still one of my favorite themes in the LeBron James collection.
