A Second Look at the Akron University Nike Zoom LeBron 6 »

Akron University, being the latest school to join the LeBron group, will be getting a lot of nice colorways for another two and a half years, at least. White, Navy and Gold has been a very popular color combination already in LBJ’s signature line, but now it has another special meaning. Opposed to previous Zoom LeBron sneakers featuring Akron Street Map, the AU Six sports the Hickory Street View printed on the upper of the shoe. Other details worth mentioning are the LRJ logo replacing the L23 logo on the collar tab and the Akron Zips’ logo sitting on the other side. The finishing touch is a fading clear outsole, which as we all know every sneakerhead is very fond of. The Akron University Nike Zoom LeBron VI is set to release next Friday (3/13/09) at House of Hoops stores. Props to MJ23KB24LB23 for sharing these photos.
