Cavaliers forward LeBron James experienced a sprained left index finger late in the second quarter of the Cavaliers game against the Detroit Pistons last night. He did not return to the game after half-time. X-rays taken at the arena were negative and he traveled with the team to Toronto after the game. LeBron underwent a MRI today at Cleveland Clinic Toronto which confirmed the sprain. He is currently listed as day to day and will be a game time decision for tomorrow nightâÂÂs game in Toronto against the Raptors. He had 15 points and three assists in the first half, accounting for more than one-third of the Cavs’ points, in a rematch of the Eastern Conference finals. Cleveland was lost without him.

LeBron James handed the Celtics’ Big 3 loss No. 2. Cleveland’s superstar scored 38 points, hitting a crucial 3-pointer and all six free throws in overtime as the Cavaliers won their fourth straight, 109-104 over Boston and its heralded trio. LeBron, playing the best ball of his career, scored 11 points in OT as the defending Eastern Conference champions dropped the Celtics to 11-2 with one of their best all-around performances of the early season. He also added 13 assists and 4 rebounds. James came in averaging 37.5 points, 10.2 rebounds and 9.5 assists in his past six games, joining Wilt Chamberlain (1964) and Oscar Robertson (1965) as the only players to reach those totals in a six-game stretch. In late April of 2003, LeBron James officially announced he was going to turn pro with a press conference at his high school. At that moment LeBron James became the object of a bidding war between Reebok, Adidas and Nike. It was a close battle but as we all know Nike got their guy and James got about $100 million. It turned out to be a great deal for both sides. Before his first signature shoe LeBron James tried out many different Nike shoes including Nike Ultraflight, 2k3, Ultramatic and many more. Check out a couple of pics presenting a signed version of LeBron’s Nike Air Zoom Ultraflight, which he wore for his rookie photoshoot back in 2003.

Cleveland rallied behind LeBron James’ fourth triple-double of the season to beat the Pacers 111-106 Sunday for their third straight win. James, the league’s leading scorer, finished with 30 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. It was the 16th triple-double of his career. James said the triple-doubles only matter if they lead to wins. “We’re playing some good basketball, and I’m the catalyst of that. The best thing about it, we got three straight wins and that’s good. We got a little streak going.” LeBron became the first player to tally back-to-back triple-doubles since Michael Jordan in March 1989.
