A closer look at the “Fearless” Zoom LeBron V »

Yesterday we published a few new photos presenting the first colorway of the upcoming Nike Zoom LeBron V. Today we present the second style Black, Black and Crimson, which is set to release on 12/13… four weeks after the initial one. As we mentioned before, each version has a different nickname and this one has been named Fearless in reference to LeBron’s playing style when he’s on court competing. One of the characteristic things about the Vs is a map of Akron on the back of the tongue. LeBron James, when he was in 6th grade, said that one day he will put Akron on the map and now he did.

A closer look at the “Family” Zoom LeBron V »

Following our first batch of the ZLV photos today we present a few more. Every Nike Zoom LeBron V colorway has a different nickname in reference to the code we all live by – Family | Fearless | Passion | Vision | Win. The White, Navy and Gold is named Family, which shows how important family is to King James. This colorway is said to be released on 11/15 as a first colorway instead of the usual Black, White and Crimson.

Another look at the Nike Zoom Soldier SVSM PE »

A while back we posted the first pics of the Zoom Soldier St. Vincent St. Mary Player Exclusive. It has a very unique look and the new pics we bring you today make them even more exceptional. The SVSM PE features a white upper, dark forest green patent leather toebox and various gold accents including the laces and the stitching.

What’s new with LeBron? Q&A with The King. »

LeBron James discussed every thing from the Cavaliers’ new practice facility to his eye surgery and the Indians’ chances in the playoffs in an exclusive telephone interview with The Plain Dealer on Thursday. James spoke after completing a conference call promoting his appearance as host of NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” this Saturday. In his first extensive interview since the Cavs lost to the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA Finals last June, James expounded on a variety of subjects including his family. Source: The Plain Dealer.

Q: What did you do for vacation? Did you get any rest this summer at all?
A: Did I get any rest? No. When we stopped playing in the middle of June and I knew I had the Olympic [qualifying] tournament coming up, I kind of prepared myself for not getting as much rest as I wish I could have gotten. I hope it’s like that every year for me — playing into June.

Kanye, LeBron to kick off ‘SNL’ season on Sept. 29 »

Chart-topping hip-hop artist Kanye West and NBA superstar LeBron James have signed on to headline “Saturday Night Live’s” 33rd season premiere in New York. This marks the second time West will perform on an “SNL” season opener, NBC said. The first episode of the new season of the sketch comedy show is slated to air this Saturday with James, a forward for the NBA’s Cleveland Cavaliers, playing host. James made his TV debut in July when he hosted the ESPYs Award Show, for which he received very good notes from his co-host comedian Jimmy Kimmel. Source: United Press International.

LeBron, Sharapova pose together, team up against poverty »

World-renowned photographer Patrick Demarchelier photographed both stars for a new series of UNDP pro bono advertisements for the promotion of the Millennium Development Goals. Maria Sharapova, United Nations Development Programme Goodwill Ambassador, has invited NBA star LeBron James to “Team Up Against Poverty” on a new UNDP advertisement to garner support for achieving the eight Millennium Development Goals. This ad campaign revolves around the concept of “Teaming Up Against Poverty” to achieve the MDG’s. The advertisements features celebrities from the world of sports, arts, fashion or business portrayed in teams of two by the world’s greatest professional photographers. Fifty celebrities, including UNDP Goodwill Ambassadors and soccer greats Ronaldo and Zidane, have agreed to participate in the initiative to promote the MDG’s and are undertaking specific anti-poverty activities. More than 200 media outlets have offered full page space to publish the advertisements.

Nike Zoom LeBron II Low Gum PE »

If there’s any Nike LeBron Low edition that is able compete with his “higher” brothers in terms of both looks and performance than it’s definitely the Nike Zoom LeBron II Low. It’s the only low-top LBJ sneaker that did not suffer on the cut down process from the mid version. Additionaly when you consider the on-court performance the ZLII Low is one of the best ever!. They were released in only two colorways – classic all-black and all-white, but there are several sweet Player Exclusives just like the one presented below – Gum PE. Enjoy the pics!
