Cleveland Cavaliers are as close as they’ve ever been to an NBA title. Cavaliers knotted the East Finals at two games apiece and they have reached this point for the third time in franchise history, however, they’ve never lasted past game six. LeBron James took care of business for the second straight game and once again he got plenty of help from Cleveland’s second-round pick rookie Daniel Gibson. With the Cavaliers leading by 2 points James sealed the deal by making 2 clutch free throws with 4.0 seconds on the game clock. As he was preparing to shoot, Hamilton walked up and tried to rattle him with a few words – just as LeBron had done to Washington’s Gilbert Arenas in the playoffs last season. This time it didn’t work as LeBron said he’s never been so focused in his career… “I invented that,” James joked. “No, Scottie Pippen invented that with Karl Malone. He (Hamilton) tried to mess with me and I had to stay focused.” Bron wore the Nike Zoom Soldier for the 14th straight game. Check out LeBron highlights [video] from last night’s game.

Going into Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals LeBron James once again had to prove his critics wrong. After being judged for making bad decisions on the last possessions of the first two games and lacking aggression The King knew he needs to be more explosive for the Cavs to stay alive in the series. This time James rose to the occasion making numerous unbelievable plays, most importantly, including a mid-range jumper with 16.3 seconds remaining in the game, which gave Cleveland the most needed win.
